With five games (four on DraftKings), Saturday’s EPL DFS slate has a little bit for everyone. Manchester City is a big favorite at home against Fulham, though Kevin De Bruyne’s injury and an unconvincing win last week against Sheffield has the defending champions looking more vulnerable than we are used to. Tottenham has been arguably one of the best teams in the league thus far, while Burnley has been one of the worst. There is a good chance both teams score but it is hard to imagine Burnley comes out on top. Chelsea took care of business against Luton last week but they were embarrassed by West Ham the week before. Both teams have scored in all three of Nottingham Forest’s matches, and this might not be an obvious win for Chelsea. Bournemouth is still looking for its first win, and it seems unlikely it would come at Brentford, considering Brentford still hasn’t lost this season. The closest matchup appears to be the late game, with Newcastle traveling to Brighton. Brighton was great the first two games but was punched in the mouth against West Ham. Newcastle destroyed Aston Villa in the opening game and while they are probably disappointed not to take even a point from Manchester City or Liverpool, it is not like those results were particularly surprising. This should be a much better test of where Newcastle actually stands early in the season.

Burnley's style through two games can best be described as "giving both teams plenty of chances to score" and that could be a problem against a Tottenham side that has looked like one of the best teams in the league through three games. That being said, I believe Burnley manager Vincent Kompany is going to get his team playing the way he wants sooner or later. If it is sooner, Burnley could easily be the team to pull an upset on this slate, and Trafford comes at a bargain price.

Ederson's FanDuel price seems like an overreaction to allowing a goal against Sheffield. Even with the injuries to Kevin De Bruyne and John Stones, I think City is the safest team on the slate and you don't have to pay a ton compared to the other top keepers.

Gordon struggled agianst Manchester City but was great in the other two games. You could talk me into playing Callum Wilson or Alexander Isak if you want to chase goals but Gordon offers a goal threat with other ways to score fantasy points.
Julian Alvarez

Alvarez is too cheap on DraftKings, where is has averaged more fantasy points than Erling Haaland through three games. You can pivot to Haaland or Phil Foden if you need to, but I think Alvarez is in the sweet spot of price and production.
Richarlison

Richarlison has three goals and an assist in 10 games against Burnley. He has only scored more goals against three teams. More importantly, this Burnley squad has allowed three goals in each of its two games. I think Burnley will get its defense together at some point, but I doubt it is Saturday. I'm not paying for Richarlison on FanDuel but he is too cheap on DraftKings, even if he is risky.

Silva is pretty cheap for someone who created four chances last week. He probably won't score many goals but he is as safe as it gets at this price.

I would be awfully tempted to play Taiwo Awoniyi. He has looked great through three games, and he could easily score a counter-attacking goal against Chelsea like he did at Manchester United last week. That being said, Gibbs-White has been nearly as good on both sites and he is much safer. It heps that he is forward-eligible on DraftKings as well.

Unless Vincent Kompany shakes up his starting lineup, Cullen should at least begin the game on corners. He probably won't provide an attacking return, especially in this matchup, but there is a good chance we get some cheap crosses and maybe a couple of chances created.

Maddison has stepped into his new team seamlessly. He is averaging more fantasy points than Erling Haaland on both sites, and there are enough forwards I like on DraftKings to make Maddison easily rosterable.

Bryan Mbeumo is undoubtedly safer, but he is far more expensive. Only Luton has allowed more goals than Bournemouth so far this season, and I love Wissa's chances of scoring. I just wish we could count on him for anything other than goals.

Niakhate had 4.65 clearances per 90 minutes last season, more than Joe Worrall. He is cheaper than Worrall on DraftKings, and Chelsea has allowed the most clearances on the young season.

Gusto has started two games and was at least as good as Ben Chilwell in those matches. He is significantly cheaper than Chilwell and while he isn't exactly a value, he is one of my favorite spend-up targets.
Hannes Delcroix

Delcroix was arguably Burnley's best player against Aston Villa, even if the bar wasn't set particularly high. He didn't send in any crosses but he did take two shots and create two chances. I love him on both sites, though he is probably a better value on DraftKings.
Serge Aurier

Aurier was great against Sheffield United but struggled against Manchester United and Arsenal. This play is a little risky but I don't think Chelsea is a top club quite yet and this is the cheapest Aurier has been on the young season.
Aaron Hickey

Hickey has been quiet so far but this should be Brentford's best matchup thus far. Hickey has three crosses in his last two games and we don't need much from him at this price.
