Saturday’s EPL DFS Slate is a big one over on DraftKings. We have five games all kicking off at 10:00 a.m. E.T., including Manchester City hosting Brighton and Crystal Palace at Newcastle. The FanDuel slate is even more super-sized, with not one but two late games. Arsenal goes to Chelsea in the first game with Manchester United at Sheffield United in the last game. Sheffield United has allowed the most goals in the league, so if you are playing on FanDuel, you will probably want to make sure you will be available to adjust your lineups before that game if needed. Overall, the top six teams in goals allowed are all in action Saturday, with five of those in the DraftKings slate. Brighton has earned 16 points and allowed 16 goals, and it will be interesting to see what that means for their matchup with Manchester City. I don’t necessarily consider that an easy matchup for City, but as always you fade City attackers at your own peril.

Bournemouth has scored the fewest goals in the league. Wolverhampton hasn't been quite as stout defensively as in years past but they don't really have to be with such a good matchup.

I would argue Turner has the best shot at a win and a clean sheet, especially in the DraftKings slate. Nottingham Forest is unbeaten at home, and only four teams have allowed fewer goals at home. Only Manchester United has scored fewer away goals than Luton, and only Sheffield has more losses this season.

This isn't a great slate for cheap keepers, but no team has kept more clean sheets than Crystal Palace this season. Newcastle scored 40 percent of its goals for the season in one game against Sheffield United, and their leading scorer, Alexander Isak, is likely out for this game. That is enough for me to take a shot on Johnstone.

Wilson has scored in both of his starts this season, and while he is a strong play if he starts, I'll like him even better if Alexander Isak is ruled out. Wilson will never exactly be safe, but he leads the entire league in goals per 90 minutes. Isak is second.

We are getting a very nice price to chase a goal. In his only start this season, Maupay took four shots (three on goal) and created a chance in 72 minutes. Only Sheffield has allowed more goals than Burnley this season, and Maupay has two goals and an assist in three career games against the Clarets. Maupay's floor is scary but at least he's not breaking the bank.
Lyle Foster

Foster is too cheap on Draftings, and he is playable on FanDuel. After getting shut out in the season-opener against Manchester City, Foster has a goal involvement in five consecutive games.

I don't love the matchup, but it is hard to imagine Haaland goes a third-straight game without a goal. This matches Haaland's cheapest price of the season on DraftKings, and I don't see a ton of other players to pay up for on that site.

I was prepared to make Haaland the only City player in this Playbook, but Foden may be the safest forward on the entire DraftKings slate. He managed just two crosses and two chances created at Arsenal before the International Break, which ended a streak of seven straight games with double-digit DK fantasy points. I fully expect Foden to begin a new streak Saturday.

All of the Brentford attackers are in play in this matchup but since we have plenty of forwards on our list, we'll go with Jensen here. Among Burnley's many defensive shortcomings is defending set pieces, and Jensen has that role nailed down.

With Taiwo Awoniyi out, Morgan Gibbs-White is by far Forest's best attacker. He has 23 crosses, six chances created and nine shots in his last three starts. Gibbs-White will have a big target in Chris Wood for set pieces and he should be on penalties as well.

Neto has long been someone who has sent in a lot of empty crosses, and he is still being priced that way despite six goal involvements in his last six games. He has at least 15 fantasy points in six of his eight games this season. I might pay for him on FanDuel, but I love his price on DraftKings.

I like the matchup but I cannot bring myself to pay for Dominic Solanke on either site. Tavernier has created a chance in every game this season, and he has nine crosses and three shots in his last two games. All of the Bournemouth midfielders are playable but if I can, I would like to pay up for Tavernier.

On FanDuel, I usually prefer defenders who record defensive stats, rather than defenders that rely on offense for their fantasy points. That being said, Doughty has 49 crosses and 20 chances created over his last four games, with six clearances for good measure. Nottingham Forest has been better at home but not good enough to lead me away from Doughty. Doughty is a midfielder on DraftKings but I like him just as much on that site.

I don't know if I've ever seen anyone score 30 fantasy poins without a goal involvement, which Trusty did in his first start of the season. Manchester United has allowed the most clearances this season, meaning the sky is the limit so long as Trusty starts again.

Doherty still hasn't sent in a cross this season, but he has averaged at least 2.0 crosses per 90 minutes in each of his last three Premier League seasons. He looks set to start Saturday, and there aren't many matchups more favorable than Bournemouth. That being said, Doherty is riskier than some of the other defenders on DraftKings.
