The final day of the English Premier League season is always fun, though it can provide a unique challenge for DFS. After playing three-or-four-game DFS slates for 37 weeks, all 20 teams play at the same time on the last day of the season. That makes the hour leading up to kickoff when lineups are announced even more important than ever. Only the three teams fighting to avoid relegation really have anything to play for, which means we could get even more lineup turnover than we might otherwise expect. There will be a lot more opportunities to unearth hidden gems prior to kickoff, and if you don’t find one or two, you could put yourself in a hole. With so many teams playing, it is more important than ever to choose players who can provide goals and assists. There are still a couple of players below who have good matchups and will provide lots of crosses and chances created, but even in cash games, those players are not as valuable as we are used to. We will need goals if we want to keep up in our DFS contests, especially on DraftKings where several top goal scorers are underpriced. Here are the top EPL DFS picks and plays for our Premier League DFS lineups.

NetoBOUEVE38007.55812.06
Only three teams have allowed more clean sheets than Everton, and only eight have allowed more saves. This is a cheap price for such a good matchup, even on the road.
Martin DubravkaNEWCHE490010.241115.00
Only Manchester United has more clean sheets than Newcastle, and only three teams have allowed more clean sheets than Chelsea. Chelsea has been the most disappointing team in the league all season and I am confident they will lay one more egg to end the season.
Joel RoblesLEETOT45003.7597.17
Most of these teams have so little to play for that I don't feel confident paying for any of them to get a win and a clean sheet. That goes especially for Leeds, who seem destined to concede at least one goal to Harry Kane. That being said, Tottenham is going out with a whimper, which bodes well for a Leeds team that needs a win to have any hope to avoid relegation. Its not a bad idea to chase the win and hope you get a handful of saves as well.
Sam JohnstoneCRYNFO54008.011313.06
One of the things we could count on all season is Nottingham Forest being terrible on the road. I see no reason to believe that would change, especially with their spot in the Premier League secured for next season.
Forwards

Aleksandar MitrovicFULMUN680013.721921.10
Mitrovic has been underpriced on DraftKings for both of his games since returning from an eight-game suspension, and all he did is score three goals in 115 minutes in those two games. Only five forwards in the entire league averaged more fantasy points than Mitrovic this season but 40 forwards cost more on Sunday.
Wilfried GnontoLEETOT74007.2149.17
You could talk me into any of the Leeds attackers depending on your site and contest of choice as well as Patrick Bamford's status for this game. That being said, Gnonto has just enough going for him on both sites to get the nod here. He is cheaper than Rodrigo and Jack Harrison on FanDuel. He is forward-eligible on DraftKings, and likely safer than Bamford or Rodrigo. This is a starting lineup to watch closely.
Eddie NketiahARSWOL62004.54156.60
My strategy has long been to target the cheapest of the Arsenal attackers, and that is especially the case with Martinelli out and Saka and Trossard dealing with nagging injuries. Nketiah leads Arsenal with 0.44 goals per start , and I love that he is forward-eligible. That being said, I am prepared to pivot to Emile Smith Rowe if he gets his first start of the season.
Harry KaneTOTLEE860016.842325.90
Kane has scored more goals on the final day of the season than anyone in Premier League history. No team has allowed more goals than Leeds this season. As poorly as Spurs have played down the stretch, Kane has still scored a goal in four straight games.
Callum WilsonNEWCHE850012.211918.91
Wilson and Alexander Isak have been both great in 2023 but since manager Eddie Howe put them both in the starting lineup, Callum Wilson has five goals in five games while Isak is still looking for his first. Wilson is a great value on FanDuel but I like him on DraftKings as well.
Midfielders

Yoane WissaBREMCI60005.01117.68
Wissa has two goals, an assist, seven shots (four on target) and three chances created in two games since Ivan Toney's suspension. This matchup is much more difficult but Wissa is cheap enough to be worth a shot, especially on FanDuel.
Adam ForshawLEETOT31001.9192.98
Forshaw has been on corners the last two weeks, and while that hasn't produced many fantasy points yet, I'm willing to bet that will change, especially at this price.
Carlos AlcarazSOULIV35005.58148.80
We were correct last week about Liverpool being vulnerable along the offensive left side, though we were let down when Ollie Watkins missed a penalty after being dragged down on a counter attack. it especially hurt when Jacob Ramsey scored from the left-hand side five minutes later. I don't know if Southampton is good enough to take advantage of Liverpool's weaknesses and even if they do, I don't know if Alcaraz will be involved. That being said, he has two goals in his last six games, and he is dirt cheap.
Cole PalmerMCIBRE67002.23162.75
Jack Grealish and Phil Foden and both questionable, potentially opening up a rare opportunity to play a cheap Manchester City attacker. I prefer Palmer on DraftKings, though he isn't forward eligible. We should also be prepared to pivot to Julian Alvarez if he starts instead.
Dwight McNeilEVEBOU970011.231714.51
In a slate with all 20 teams in action, this is a lot to pay for someone with 10 goal involvements, especially on DraftKings. That being said, Bournemouth has allowed the most crosses and corner kicks in the league. McNeil has 30 crosses, 11 chances created and three goal involvements in his last four games. McNeil has at least 15.6 FD fantasy points in eight consecutive games, averaging 27.5 fantasy points in that span.
Defenders
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
James TarkowskiEVEBOU34004.361416.83
Bournemouth isn't a great matchup for defensive stats but Tarkowski has been consistent enough this season that I trust him on FanDuel. Really, though, he is on this list for his prowess on set pieces. Bournemouth has allowed 16 goals from corner kicks, seven more than any other team in the league. They have also allowed 16 more headed shots than any other team. Only four players in the entire league have more headed shots than Tarkowski this season, and this seems like the perfect time to chase a goal, especially in GPPs.
Kieran TrippierNEWCHE750016.011620.07
Once again, I find myself playing cheaper attackers and paying up for at least one defender. Trippier has at least nine crosses and three chances created in five consecutive games, and I think he is actually overdue for a goal involvement.
Pedro PorroTOTLEE640012.681415.86
Porro has been just as good for fantasy as Trent Alexander-Arnold but Porro costs $700 less. Porro had six crosses, two chances created and three shots in just 15 minutes against Brentford and that is probably his floor if he starts this game.
EmersonWHULEI51005.2498.08
Emerson has at least five crosses in each of his last two starts. It is hard to trust him but he could provide elite fantasy production at a discount if he can repeat that production one more time.
Lucas DigneAVLBHA37004.9187.70
I thought Digne was Aston Villa's best player against Liverpool, though it didn't really show up in the box score. That being said, he should have more chances to get forward against Brighton, and even five months ago it would have been unheard of for Digne to be this cheap while he is a starter.
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
LyancoSOULIV30003.05119.22
Liverpool remains the best matchup for defensive stats and Lyanco has double-digit FD fantasy points in five of his last six games. We might find a better value once lineups are announced by Lyanco is safe and relatively cheap.
Lewis HallCHENEW48008.341113.03
Hall has eight chances created in his last three games. We are getting a good price to chase offensive upside, and that makes a ton of sense in such a large slate.
