Playing a new EPL DFS slate every day of the week is always a fun time, but it is even more fun when we are doing well. It didn’t exactly take a rocket scientist to recommend Erling Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne or Trent Alexander-Arnold Wednesday but being able to afford them with the likes of Facundo Buonanotte, Keylor Navas or David Raya worked out aw well as we could have hoped.
For our third slate in as many days, the big question is what to do with Tottenham. They are saying and doing all the right things since they no-showed against Newcastle, but it remains to be seen if that will translate into better effort and play down the stretch. My best guess is that they will respond with a strong performance in front of their home fans Thursday and then phone it in the rest of the season but if you see the situation differently, you should act accordingly.

Southampton's season if effectively over after they blew a 3-1 lead against Arsenal over the weekend. They are winless in their last seven games and despite playing at home, I see no reason to believe that streak will end Thursday. Bournemouth has risen out of the relegation zone with wins in four of its last six games, including each of its last two road games. It also helps that Bournemouth leads the league in saves and Southampton has scored the second-fewest goals this season.

If Tottenham hasn't thrown in the towel and they actually show up for this home game, Forster is much too cheap. These teams are nearly even in goal difference, but perhaps more importantly, it looks like Bruno Fernandes is out for Manchester United. United lost to Sevilla last week in Europa League with Fernandes out and they lost the lone Premier League game he missed.

Probably we just shouldn't overthink this position. Newcastle has allowed the fewest goals in the league and is second in clean sheets. Everton has scored the fewest goals and only two teams have allowed more clean sheets. Pope's price is pretty reasonable and there is no doubt he has the best chance of a win and a clean sheet.

Even with his team playing like complete garbage Sunday, Kane managed to score his sixth goal in his last six games. He looks safe on both sites but especially on DraftKings, where good forwards are hard to find.
Theo Walcott

Just about every forward on the slate is risky, so you may as well play a cheap one. Walcott scored one of Southampton's three goals at Arsenal and he created four chances the game before that. Bournemouth has allowed the most goals in the league and Walcott looks like the best value if we want to take advantage.

I don't know if I want to play both Spurs attackers, and Harry Kane is much safer. That being said, Son is cheaper and he should be back on corners if Ivan Perisic returns to the bench. If you can't afford Son, Arnaut Danjuma is a reasonable pivot.
Alexander Isak

He isn't quite safe but he is pretty close to it, with at least 22 FanDuel fantasy points in five of his last seven games. If you want to pay up for an attacker who isn't a Spur, Isak may be your best bet.

I don't know if it was more surprising that Southampton scored three goals at Arsenal or that James Ward-Prowse wasn't involved in any of them. I can't consider him safe on either site but this is the best matchup he's had in nearly two months.
Christian Eriksen

Eriksen is a must-play with Bruno Fernandes out. He had seven crosses and four chances created against Sevilla and even if United doesn't score, Eriksen should offer a high ceiling.

Guimaraes has been Newcastle's only consistent attacker with Allan Saint-Maximin out the last three games. You can pivot to Jacob Murphy or Joe Willock for more upside but Bruno is a great cash play who offers value on both sites.

Prior to suffering an injury at Southampton, Davies had 14 crosses in his previous four games. He is fit now and is a good bet to come into the squad after watching the Newcastle debacle from the bench. It matters a great deal if he is playing left back or center back but so long as Ivan Perisic is on the bench, Davies should be a very nice value play.
Kieran Trippier

Trippier is the safest player on the slate and there are enough value plays on the slate to make him playable. I don't think this is a great slate for defensive stats, which makes Trippier even more viable on FanDuel.

I don't love this matchup, and I'm not expecting a goal in a second consecutive game. This call is mostly about Caleta-Car scoring at least 13 FD fantasy points in four consecutive starts. We are getting a good price for that kind of production, especially considering the other options on the slate.

Lascelles should get the start if Fabian Schar's hamstring keeps him out. Lascelles is $4 cheaper than Schar and Lascelles has at least six clearances in both Premier League starts this season.
