Our busy week of EPL DFS slates got off to a good start thanks to big games from Tyrone Mings, James Maddison, Marc Roca (on FanDuel), Michael Olise and Jose Sa. While we look to build off that performance Wednesday, we will have to do it in a completely different slate. Wednesday features one extra game and very few bad teams. Just two of the eight teams in action are lower than 11th in the table and only one (Nottingham Forest) is lower than 14th. The slate also features a clash between the top two teams, Arsenal and Manchester City. Arsenal is unbeaten since their home loss to Manchester City in February, though they are coming off three straight draws. Manchester City is looking for its seventh straight win, which would pull them within two points of Arsenal with two games in hand. That game could provide a lot of fantasy points at a surprisingly reasonable price, but there are plenty of other players worth a look, especially with Brighton and Liverpool both facing favorable road matchups.

EPL DFS Soccer Picks April 26

EPL DFS Top Goalkeepers

Goalkeepers

Keylor NavasNFOBHA38002.0373.92
For as bad as Nottingham Forest has been this season, they have just five losses at home, conceding 20 goals in 16 games. Brighton has been very good this season but they have allowed the most saves in the league. I think Navas has a reasonable chance at a win and/or a clean sheet but at this price all we really need is a handful of saves without allowing too many goals.
EdersonMCIARS56006.811010.03
Manchester City will effectively pull ahead in the league table with a win, as they would be two points back with two games in hand. More importantly, they are at home and they won the reverse fixture 3-1. I'm not paying up for Ederson on DraftKings but I can't ignore his FanDuel price.
David RayaBRECHE41009.21914.02
Only four teams have scored fewer goals or allowed more clean sheets than Chelsea. Chelsea has lost both games under Frank Lampard and they have been shut out in three of their last four. This is as good a bet to take as any, especially considering the lack of a clear favorite to pay up for.

EPL DFS Top Forwards

Forwards

Erling HaalandMCIARS860018.792430.10
I don't usually like to pay Haaland's price, especially on DraftKings, but this is the cheapest he has been all season. I know this isn't a good matchup but Manchester City scored three goals in the reverse fixture, including one by Haaland. He is risky but that is true of all of the forwards on DraftKings. This is pretty clearly a risk worth taking.
Mohamed SalahLIVWHU930014.482121.73
Most of what I wrote about Haaland applies to Salah, though Salah is cheaper on FanDuel. Salah has at least one goal in four consecutive starts, including against Arsenal and Manchester City. This isn't a great matchup but it isn't scary, either.

EPL DFS Top Midfielders

Midfielders
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Kevin SchadeBRECHE38002.79134.54
Schade looked like one of the most dangerous Brentford attackers against Aston Villa, finishing with three shots (one on goal), one cross and one chance created. He could play a similar role in this game against an evenly matched opponent. Schade has taken some time to find his footing after a January loan from Freiburg but if he can build on Sunday's performance he could provide nice value and allow you to pay up elsewhere.
Mateo KovacicCHEBRE39004.66107.56
When Frank Lampard took over at Chelsea three weeks ago, we wondered which of his players would benefit the most. The answer so far has been "no one," which seems like a pretty good reason to go cheap. Kovacic is averaging 8.46 DK fantasy points in his last five starts, with nine shots, nine chances created and one goal in that span. He is probably a bit safer than Kevin Schade and Facundo Buonanotte, but I think I like those two better for tournaments.
Solly MarchBHANFO910014.982220.86
This is a ton to pay for someone who doesn't play for Liverpool, Arsenal or Manchester City. That being said, March has an attacking return in four of his last five games, with 28 crosses, 19 chances created and 13 shots (seven on goal) in that span. He looks like the safest player in the slate, but you might want to look to those other teams for upside.
Facundo BuonanotteBHANFO42002.77104.00
On the one hand, we know from manager Roberto De Zerbi's press conference that the 18-year-old will start. On the other hand, De Zerbi also proclaimed that he can play as a winger, on the right or as a No. 10. On another hand, even if we knew what position he is playing (I'm guessing it will be the No. 10), we don't really know ho he will produce in his first Premier League start. Buonanotte has one cross, two shots, three chances created and an assist in 52 minutes this season and if he can match that in this game, he will be a very nice value.
Kevin De BruyneMCIARS850017.911921.51
De Bruyne has at least 12.9 FD fantasy points in six consecutive starts, averaging 25.05 fantasy points in that span. He was great in the reverse fixture, which certainly doesn't hurt, but mostly I just think he is too cheap, especially on FanDuel.
MidfieldersTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Pascal GrossBHANFO840013.351616.76
I'll like it better if Gross plays midfield and not right back, especially for DraftKings. That being said, Gross has 15 chances created in his last five games. In a slate where the mid-priced attackers are at best a roll of the dice, Gross looks rock-solid.

EPL DFS Top Defenders

Defenders
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Ben ChilwellCHEBRE61008.82129.96
Brentford has allowed the third-most crosses in the league this season, and Chilwell should get most of the corners as well. I like him better at wing back than left back but with at least 8.7 DK fantasy points in eight consecutive starts, he is pretty clearly the best top-tier defender on DraftKings.
Trent Alexander-ArnoldLIVWHU620012.271414.15
Ben Chilwell has a better matchup, but I'm not sure that matters. Alexander-Arnold has double-digit DK fantasy points in 10 of his last 11 games, with the lone exception coming at Manchester City. I'm not seeing any cheap defenders I like on DraftKings so unless that changes when lineups are announced, it may be best to simply pay up for both defenders and save all your money on midfielders.
Joe WorrallNFOBHA27002.481011.18
He is awfully cheap for someone with double-digit FD fantasy points in seven of his last eight starts. With Scott McKenna out for the season, Worrall should be a great source of cheap defensive stats.
Joel VeltmanBHANFO35006.031010.05
Veltman appears to be healthy after playing 54 minutes off the bench in the FA Cup semi-finals Sunday, but there is still a good chance Pascal Gross gets another start at right back. That being said, Veltman has at least 7.2 DK fantasy points in four consecutive starts, and this is his lowest price since November. He would approach must-play status if he starts.
Kostas TsimikasLIVWHU57007.71118.56
Tsimikas is a strong pivot if you can't afford Trent Alexander-Arnold or Ben Chilwell, but that is not why he made this list. Tsimikas is on this list beause he is too cheap on FanDuel. Tsimikas is averaging 17.05 FD fantasy points in his last four starts, and while I prefer defenders on that site who accumulate defensive stats, I will make an exception for that kind of production.
