The entirety of the 2026 PGA Tour season culminates this week at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia, for the 2026 TOUR Championship. Every single week, players battled for points to secure their spot not only in this event, but to ensure their tour card and signature event status for 2026, and we get to see the top 30 of the season compete this week for the title of Tour Champion, which has only been held by 15 different players. Will Tommy Fleetwood repeat? Will Rory McIlroy secure his third tour championship, or will a new name claim the title?

TOUR Championship 2026 Predictions

Given that this is the 30 best players in the world in 2026, it should be no surprise to hear that any of these players can get hot enough to win this event, even players who just snuck their way in here. We have a very diverse field, with names like Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose, and Hideki Matsuyama having 40 or more rounds at East Lake, and newcomers like Ryan Fox, Min Woo Lee, and Alex Fitzpatrick (and others) debuting here. With a very talented field, let’s take a peek at some of my favorite bets this week. 

 

 

TOUR Championship Free Picks Featuring Corey Conners & Rory McIlroy

Hideki Matsuyama To Finish Top 5 (+465 at DraftKings)

Hideki is my sneaky pick to win the whole thing, but his top 5 number is also so good I can't pass it up. Hideki has been heating up for the last couple months, and every facet of his game is peaking at the right time. His driver, which is usually a problem club for him, has him currently ranked 2nd in my model in Good Drives Gained, and his wedge game remains amongst the best in the sport. Given that we see more par 4's than normal given the Par 70 that East Lake plays at, it's extra important to note that Hideki ranks 1st in the Model over the last 24 rounds in Par 4 Birdies or Better. Once you continue to look and see that he ranks 6th for me on approach, 2nd in Recent Form, and 4th at our comp courses, with top 4 numbers also in Birdies or Better and Bogey Avoidance, this screams like an event where Hideki is being a bit undervalued since he's had an overall disappointing season.

 

 

TOUR Championship One & Done Pick: Tommy Fleetwood

It worked last year, why change it up? We've used most of the best players in the world, and given it's a 30 man field, our choice might be even more limited. But Tommy presents a great chance at one final payday for One and Done lineups. 

Tommy doesn't have a win under his belt since his win here last year, but he's played great almost the entire year. He's currently on a stretch of 8 events with 7 finishes no worse than 14th, and his entire game was in a great spot before a subpar performance at the BMW. Tommy performs well at East Lake, and clearly has the firepower to win in an event like this, so why can't he do it again?

 

 

TOUR Championship Long Shot Pick: Tom Kim (48/1 at DraftKings)

Tom Kim proved the haters wrong earlier this year with a win at the Scottish Open, so why can't he keep doing just that? Kim ranks 3rd in my model this week, with top 5 ranks in Good Drives Gained, Par 4 Birdies or Better, SG: Putting (Bermuda), SG: Approach, SG: Tee-to-Green (Last 24), Birdie or Better Percentage, and Bogey Avoidance. I don't know about you, but that screams like a guy who can win this event. His issue thus far is that we haven't seen him play his best golf here (just one appearance where he finished T20) or at the Comp Courses, but he's playing better golf than he has in years. He's a premier level talent as a ball-striker, and if his short game cooperates, there's no reason he can't shock the world this week.
