Here are my personal example lineups for this weekend's tournament.  You will see lineups for DraftKings and Fanduel.  You will also need at least two pivot options in each of the lineups as well.  We encourage you to use these lineups and the playbook as a guide for building your own unique lineups for the Valero Texas Open.

Make sure you read my full PGA DFS Playbook for Valero Texas Open before using these example lineups.  You can also take a look at my Weekly Tournament Projections at any time.

It is our last event before the first major of the 2022-2023 season.  The Masters has everyone excited and I know I personally feel like I want to save my bankroll for Augusta.  I’ve had a lot of success at the Masters over the years and my focus will be a bit split this weekend.  That being said, we’ve got a lot of history to work off of at this event.  We’ve also got a semi decent field participating in Texas and I’ll be playing about half my typical allotment.

The winds seem to be under control according to the forecast this weekend.  That means the scores may jump into the upper teens.  I will be more willing to pay for the riskier players like Si Woo Kim or Garrick Higgo knowing the winds will be reasonable.

I will keep my play to more of a stars and scrubs approach.  We want to try to get as many of the names we know and trust into my lineups.  I will personally play more tournaments than cash this weekend.  A lot of unknowns lower down the pricing sheet.  That may be a weak mentality but that’s how I handle my money.
