Augusta National will bring a lot of familiar faces to the PGA's first major of the season with the Masters Tournament. One of the more controversial situations in the history of golf has engulfed the sport over the past year has been the creation of the LIV Golf Tour and the former PGA players that defected to join the LIV Tour. Questions surrounded the LIV players as it pertained to their status for the major championships of golf and ultimately the committee has decided to allow LIV golfers to participate. One of those golfers Brooks Koepka who is still chasing his first green jacket and is coming off a win at the most recent LIV Tournament in Orlando.

Brooks Koepka Masters Tournament History

Koepka will be making his eighth appearance at the Masters Tournament. His recent appearances at Augusta Nationals have been uneventful, having missed the cut here in both 2022 and 2021. Koepka was on the wrong side of history in 2019 as he finished tied for second place, one shot behind Tiger Woods who won his fifth green jacket. Koepka has two career top-10 finishes and three finishes inside the top-11. Now healthy, Koepka is looking to get back into the form that made him one of the best golfers in the world just a few years back.

Brooks Koepka Odds to win the Masters Tournament

Right now over on DraftKings Sportsbook Brooks Koepka is +4000 to win the Masters Tournament which means a $100 bet would net you $4,000. He’s an obvious long shot given his recent play on the PGA tour and health issues but he is also a four time major champion and has a runner up finish in this tournament. If you want to take on a little less risk, Koepka is +850 to finish in the top five and +360 to finish in the top 10.

Brooks Koepka Masters 2023 Pairings

Brooks Koepka will be teeing off at 11:42 AM ET on Thursday and will be paired with PGA Tour players Danny Willett and Gary Woodland. Willett is a former green jacket winner while Woodland is a major winner, taking home the 2019 U.S. Open.

Brooks Koepka Masters Tournament DraftKings Salary

When it comes to DFS, DraftKings has priced Brooks Koepka at $7,600 for the Masters Tournament. This price point is right in the middle of the player pool and there are some other enticing names around Koepka that may see him go overlooked when it comes to most DFS contests resulting in lower rostership. The other golfers in this priced within $100 of Koepka consist of Tom Kim, Tommy Fleetwood, Min Woo Lee, Corey Connors, Bryson DeChambeau and Sahith Theegala.

2023 Masters Tournament Predictions for Brooks Koepka

Coming off of a win at LIV Orland is certainly good for Koepka when it comes to his current playing form but it is certainly worth noting that the competition on the LIV Tour is not the same as it is on the PGA Tour and especially not the same type of competition he will face when trying to contend for a major. Koepka is still only 32 years old and certainly has the talent to be there on Sunday but my guesses would have him as someone who makes the cut but his presence will make more noise than his play.
