QUARTERBACKS
Bryce Young (Alabama) Opp LSU ($9.6K)
Young has elite passing numbers- 26 passing touchdowns; 2,453 passing yards; 70% completion rat and two rushing touchdowns. Three straight 300-yard games and a safe floor. Lock him in as the top and safest quarterback on the slate.
Jake Haener (Fresno State) Opp BSU ($7.7K)
Haener hasn’t thrown a pick since Week 5 and is now fourth in the nation in passing yards and tied for seventh in passing touchdowns. This is a tough player with a tight arm and throwing touch that is just as good as anyone in the country. Boise State has allowed a couple of 300-yard games already this season and look for Haener to add to that total.
Brock Purdy (Iowa State) Opp UT ($6.6K)
Purdy is a veteran that has a safe floor with a low salary of $6,500 against a Texas pass defense that is allowing 231.9 yards passing and 7.4 yards per attempt. Coming off one of his worst games of the season last week against West Virginia Purdy still was able to throw a touchdown on 185 yards passing and even ran one in for his first rushing score of 2021.
Also Consider:
- Malik Cunningham (Louisville) $7.8K GPP
- Herndon Hooker (Tennessee) $7.5K Cash/GPP
- Anthony Brown (Oregon) $8.2K GPP
RUNNING BACKS
Breece Hall (Iowa State) Opp UT ($9.0K)
Texas is ranked 118/130 in the nation in rush defense and could not ask for a bigger nightmare to face than Breece Hall. Hall could easily break the slate here and has now scored a touchdown in 20 straight games and has been over 18FP in every game this season. With 1,193 total yards on the season, 13 touchdowns, 5.5 yards per carry and a 123 yard per game average Hall is a lock and core play tonight against the Longhorns.
Brian Robinson Jr (Alabama) Opp LSU ($8.7K)
Half of Robinsons games have come at a clip of five yards per attempt or better and he has now scored six touchdowns in the last two games. LSU has given up more than 200 rushing yards three times this season which includes twice in the last three games. Robinson is involved in all aspects of the Crimson Tide offense and should play a major role in eating the clock in the second half of tonight’s game making him a top play in all formats.
Will Shipley (Clemson) Opp @ UL ($6.4K)
Shipley is now Clemson’s leading rusher and coming off a huge game where he scored twice and ran for a career high 128 yards- the most since Travis Etienne ran for 149 yards against Miami (FL) a year ago. He was beast mode and gave college fans a glimpse of the damage that he can do to opposing rush defense. Kobe Pace is back from Covid protocols but as long as Shipley is still mid-six price range, he is in play for both cash and GPPs.
Tyler Goodson (Iowa) Opp @NW ($6.0K)
Goodson is way too cheap against a horrible Northwestern run defense that ranks 126th among 130 FBS programs allowing 229.9 yards per game. Goodson has rushed for 613 yards on the season with a 4.1 yard per carry average and five touchdowns plus has 182 receiving yards for a 9.6 average and another score, The Hawkeyes have scored just 14 points in the last two games, losses to Purdue and Wisconsin but expect things to turn around tonight and Goodson will be the main benefactor.
Also Consider:
- Travis Dye (Oregon) $8.9K GPP
- Bijan Robinson (Texas) $9.2K Cash/GPP
- Blake Corum/Hassan Haskins (Michigan) GPP
- Ronnie Rivers (Fresno State) $6.1K GPP
- George Holani (Boise State) $3.5K GPP Value Punt
WIDE RECEIVERS
Khalil Shakir (Boise State) Opp @ FRES ($7.3K)
Shakir has 49 receptions for 777 yards and four touchdowns. The team alpha has struggled a bit this year but exploded for nine catches for 118 yards (ninth career 100-yard game) in Boise State’s road win over Colorado State. With this game seeing the second highest total on the slate Shakir makes for a solid play in both cash and GPPs
Wan’Dale Robinson (Kentucky) Opp TENN ($6.9K)
Robinson has 29 receptions over the last three games giving him a safe floor week after week. He now has totaled 58 receptions for 645 yards (fourth in the SEC) and five touchdowns this season and because of his skillset he will be targeted over and over. Always a cash play and should be no different against Tennessee defense allowing 232.0 yards per game in the air.
Cedric Tillman (Tennessee) Opp @UK ($5.0K)
Coming off a career night against Alabama where he collected 152 yards on seven catches- one of them being a 70-yard touchdown that kept the Vols in striking distance early in the fourth quarter. Tillman now has four straight games of at least six targets and has scored in three of those as he develops into the team alpha.
Payton Hendershot (Indiana) Opp @MICH ($4.9K)
Has at least five receptions in all but two games this season which is solid for a $4,900 player. Freshman Donaven McCulley may be under center again and he did feel comfortable right away targeting Hendershot six times last week for 106 yards and two touchdowns against Maryland.
Charlie Kolar (Iowa State) Opp UT ($4.6K)
West Virginia slowed down Kolar and WR1 Xavier Hutchinson last week. Kolar had just one catch and Hutchinson six catches for 51 yards. Things will need to change this week if Iowa State is to be successful against Texas and Kolar had recorded at least four catches in six straight games leading up to the West Virginia game. Look for him to back to his normal solid self tonight.
Also Consider:
- John Metchie (Alabama) $7.7K Cash/GPP
- Jameson Williams (Alabama) $7.0K Cash/GPP
- Xavier Worthy (Texas) $6.7K GPP
- Cornelius Johnson (Michigan) $4.7K GPP
- Velus Jones (Tennessee) $4.8K GPP
- Brian Thomas (LSU) $3.5K Punt
- Mycah Pittman (Oregon) $3.2K
