  • Notre Dame - 32.50

QUARTERBACKS

Brennan Armstrong (Virginia) Opp GT ($9.6K)

Armstrong is putting up huge numbers in this high-powered offense. He has accounted for 22 total touchdowns through seven games and has attempted at least 44 passes in five straight. Armstrong, who leads the nation with 2,824 passing yards and is second in attempts and completions, should have no problem picking apart the Georgia Tech defense. In play in all formats.

Bryce Young (Alabama) Opp TENN ($9.4K)

Going to have to take a stand on either Armstrong or Young as both are great plays but expensive. Young is eighth in the nation in passing yards with 2,082; third in touchdowns with 24 and carries a 180.4 QB rating (compared to Armstrong’s 151.3). Bama comes into the game with a 46.50 implied against a Volunteer pass defense that is allowing 232.0 yards per game in the air. Coming off a 34.7 DK point game against Mississippi State in Week 7 expect the same tonight if Tennessee can at least push the tempo of the game a bit.

Kedon Slovis (USC) Opp @ ND ($6.5K)

Gut call here. This is a big rivalry game and in games like these records and stats are thrown out the window. Slovis is cheap and has already had success in this big game going back to 2019 when as a true freshman he came in and nearly stunned Notre Dame at home.  Coming off a 24.7 FP game against Utah where he threw 53 passes for 401 yards and two touchdowns Slovis makes for a sneaky play tonight.

Jack Tuttle (Indiana) Opp OSU ($5.1K)

Talk of the training wheels coming off Tuttle this week as he is making his fourth career start. Currently averaging only 173 yards passing, a pick and less that one touchdown per game. Tuttle needs to take shots downfield and gets another week to work with the 2020 Big Ten Receiver of the Year Ty Fryfogle. Between his cheap price and the underwhelming Buckeye pass defense that is giving up 256 air yards per game Tuttle doesn’t need much to pay off that $5.1K

Also Consider:

CJ Stroud (Ohio State) $9.2K GPP

Jeff Sims (Georgia Tech) $8.2K Cash/GPP

Max Duggan (TCU) $7.8K

Haaziq Daniels (Air Force) $6.2K Cash/GPP Value

Jarret Doege (West Virginia) $5.6K GPP Value

RUNNING BACKS

Brian Robinson (Alabama) Opp TENN ($8.5K)

Has become a real workhorse with 36 carries against Ole Miss and 24 against Texas A&M and now has a total of 79 in his past three games. With Jase McClellan out for the season Robinson will continue to dominate the role as he ranks third in the SEC in rushing yards per game (99.8) while carrying the rock 116 times for 599 yards and eight touchdowns. He also has caught the ball 13 times for another 145 yards and two scores.

Leddie Brown (West Virginia) Opp @TCU ($6.8K)

Would you have believed me during the summer if I told you Leddie Brown would only have one 100-yard rushing week in the first two months of the season? He hasn’t hit the century mark since his 161-yard one touchdown game against Virginia Tech back in Week 3. Get right game though tonight against a TCU rush defense that is giving up 210 yards and 5.4 YPA per game. Matchup won’t get any better this season.

Jahmir Gibbs (Georgia Tech) Opp ($6.3K)

Pass catching back that has gained 207 receiving yards over the last two games. He does it all and ranks 16th nationally in all-purpose yardage at 140.2 per game plus leads the team in rushing and is second in receiving. Over the last two games Gibbs has gone off- a 77-yard TD catch against Duke and a 71-yarder against Pittsburgh.

Kyren Williams (Notre Dame) Opp USC ($7.2K)

Favorite low owned GPP play. Coming off one of his best games of the season against Virginia Tech when he rushed 19 times for 81 yards and a score plus caught five passes for 26 yards and another touchdown for a 25.2 FP day. This game against a struggling USC defense has a 59 total and can turn into a sneaky shootout before it’s all over.

Jaylan Knighton (Miami) Opp NCST ($6.7K)

Knighton has taken over as the feature back with both Cam’Ron Harris and Don Chaney Jr out for the season. He started off his new role with a bang with two rushing touchdowns and 92-yards rushing plus another score receiving in their heart breaking 45-42 loss to North Carolina on Saturday. NC State’s defense is solid, yet they have benefited from not having to face any major rushing teams besides Coston College last week. The price isn’t a bargain, but the receiving upside of Knighton makes him a safe play in cash games plus is GPP viable.

Also Consider:

TreyVeyon Henderson (Ohio State) $8.1K GPP Always a strong play but the blow out may hurt

Zach Evans (TCU) $7.9K GPP Check status

Isaiah Spiller (TA&M) $7.6K Cash/GPP

Zonovan Knight (NCST) $5.1K GPP

Chris Tyree (Notre Dame) $3.9K GPP Value

Jordan Mason (Georgia Tech) $3K Dart

WIDE RECEIVERS

Drake London (USC) Opp ND ($8.8K)

Cheat code status. Best receiver in the nation and a must play. Don’t over think this- figure out a way to fit the stud in. Second in nation with 138.7 yards per game and Pac-12 leader in yards after the catch, first downs, catches of 20 yards or more, yards per route…. get the point.

Dontayvion Wicks (Virginia) Opp ($6.9K)

Monster game last week with 7 catches, 125 yards and a score. The big play receiver is expensive but putting up big numbers in the nation’s second most prolific offense with 32 receptions 679 yards and six touchdowns. Georgia Tech is allowing opponents to complete 65% of their passes with 11 touchdown passes and only three interceptions.

John Metchie (Alabama) Opp ($7.1K)

Leads Bama receivers with a 24.5% target share and is finally catching fire after a frustrating start to the season. Now has 14 receptions for 205 yards and a score over his last two games. Metchie and fellow receiver Jameson Williams $6.5K are both in play and get you a piece of the high Crimson Tide implied total. Metchie is a bit more expensive but has five more targets than Williams (20-15) over the last two games and is a bit safer than the big play Williams.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba (Ohio State) Opp @IU ($5.4K)

Fair price for the WR3 of prolific offense that is nearing 40 implied points tonight. Smith-Njigba has at least three targets in six straight games and is coming off a big performance against Maryland where he caught five passes for 103 yards last week and another five passes three weeks ago for 93 yards and a touchdown

Charlston Rambo (Miami) Opp NCST ($5.2K)

Rambo has eight targets in every FBS game this season and leads the team with 53 targets for 35 catches 422 yards and two scores. He has double digit FP in every game but two this season and gets face a NC State pass defense that is allowing 207 yards per game in the air. For the amount of volume that Rambo is seeing on a per game basis $5.2 is a solid value.

Ty Fryfogle (Indiana) Opp OSU ($4.3K)

Fryfogle had a monster game against the Buckeyes secondary last year catching seven passes for 218 yards and three touchdowns. Has struggled right from jump this season gaining only 337 yards and one score on 33 catches but does have three straight double digit target games. With at least eight targets in every game this season $4.3K is still too cheap even with Jack Tuttle under center.
