We have one game today that features two teams with a ton of elite talent. The Edmonton Oilers were able to tie the series on Saturday on the backs of heroic performances from Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid and now head home with the series tied at one against the Vegas Golden Knights as round two of the Stanley Cup Playoffs continues. We saw big games yesterday from the likes of Luke Hughes, as well as the Seattle Kraken so who will step up to be the difference maker today? In addition to the game tonight the NHL Draft Lottery will also be held to see who will win the rights to draft Connor Bedard in this summer's NHL Draft. Highest Expected Goal Totals

Edmonton Oilers: 4.1

Vegas Golden Knights: 3.1

Edmonton Oilers vs Vegas Golden Knights

Players to target: Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, Evan Bouchard, Mark Stone, Chandler Stephenson, Jack Eichel

We saw another wild game in game two, as the Oilers were able to win 5-1, with big games from Draisaitl, McDavid and Stuart Skinner who stopped 30 of the 31 shots he faced. While the location has changed, the script for the forwards in this game really hasn't. You will be hard-pressed to build a lineup today that doesn't feature both McDavid and Draisaitl, especially with them getting the last change, and then sprinkle in Vegas players and some supporting cast where you can. This means getting some shares of Mark Stone, Chandler Stephenson, Reilly Smith Ivan Barbashev, and Jonathan Marchessault for Vegas and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Evander Kane, and Zach Hyman for the Oilers.

For DFS purposes we continue to see a tonne of value from Vegas' defensive group with how they block shots. Four of their six defensemen blocked two shots or more, and only Alex Pietrangelo and Shea Theodore holding higher prices. This ensures that you should be considering players like Zach Whitecloud and DFS Legend Alec Martinez in your lineups as we should expect Edmonton to put as many or more shots on goal at home. Pietrangelo is a strong candidate for your captain/VIP spot with his combination of floor with his shots and blocked shots and then the upside of him being able to get multiple points. With the Oilers Evan Bouchard continues to be the primary target. He has two points in game two, but like his defensive teammates, no one really provided any value on the periphery, which makes them risky as they could easily be zeros in your lineup.

In goal, I think you can consider going using Stuart Skinner, but I continue to be skeptical of goalie usage in this series, as all four goalies on these teams are highly combustible. You can make the case for using whoever starts for Vegas whether that be Laurent Brossoit or Adin Hill, as they will have very low ownership, but the odds of that working out for you are equally low. If you're trying to hit a home run they can work through.

When I’m building lineups today I would give some consideration to using either McDavid or Draisaitl in your captain spot, but ultimately I preferred the flexibility I got from using them both in flex spots and then building a more well-rounded from there. At his price, I think Zach Whitecloud is a must-play on DK, and I think Nicolas Roy can be a solid value player on FD to help you build a good lineup around the Edmonton stars.
