Winnipeg Jets at Vancouver Canucks

Kyle Connor of the Jets has been red hot as of late. He has two goals and an assist in his last three games to go along with 24 shots. He should be a primary target tonight with the number of shots the Canucks allow. The Jets are also seeing strong performances from Nikolaj Ehlers, and Mark Schiefle over their last three games as well with each of them putting up three points. Pierre-Luc Dubois has also looked for the Jets he has 2 points and 12 shots in those three games. For Vancouver, Nils Hoglander has been great for them, he has 4 points in his last three games and he leads Vancouver in shots. Otherwise, I think you can look to J.T. Miller, but many of the Canucks offensive players haven’t really been doing too much.

On defense, Vancouver has been getting production from Quinn Hughes, he has had 2 points in his last three games, but none of the defense has been putting up a lot in the form of shots or blocks. Winnipeg has been getting shots from Josh Morrissey and Neal Pionk, both have 6 shots in their last three games, but Logan Stanely has been providing points with three assists, and you will get him at a low price today as well.

While Eric Comrie has only played two games over the last two weeks, he has performed well stopping 46 of the 49 shots he has faced in games against Chicago and the Islanders. He is priced well and will likely get overlooked by a lot of people as he isn’t a household name. Thatcher Demko is a solid goalie, but with how the Canucks have been playing it’s hard to roster him, especially when he has only been stopping 86 percent of the shots he has faced in his last 4 games.

Colorado Avalanche at Seattle Kraken

Seattle has been a team we have been able to get a lot of value out of this season, particularly from Jordan Eberle and Jaden Schwartz. Eberle has points in five straight games, and he has scored three goals in that time as well. Schwartz has points in each of his last three games, but likely will not score as often as Eberle will, but with that, he comes at a lower cost. For Colorado, injuries haven’t yet slowed down their offence. Nazem Kadri has six points in his last two games, while Gabriel Landeskog and Mikko Rantanen each have three points in their last two games and even though we didn’t see any production from Logan O’Connor in Colorado’s last game he is still in a great position to get points as a value play.

Outside of Mark Giordano, there isn’t a whole lot to be excited about on Seattle’s defense. No one is really putting up a lot of points, but Giordano has been shooting he has six shots in his last two games. Colorado on the other hand has lots of players worth considering on defense. Cale Makar is capable of putting up multiple points and putting a lot of pucks on the net. They have also seen some nice offensive performances recently from Samuel Girard, and Devon Toews has been putting up points as of late as well.

Chris Driedger is going to be making just his second start of the year. He hasn’t played really well so far this year. He is a capable goalie and could be someone worth looking at as a contrarian play in GPP games. Darcy Kuemper will likely be heavily owned tonight, but he has started to play much better for Colorado with a 0.937 save percentage over the last couple of weeks.
