Thursday's two-game NHL slate is loaded with top-tier scorers. We should expect lots of tight games with some great matchups out there, but expect some of the top scorers to shine through still. So, be sure to check in with our NHL DFS Tools, with the daily NHL projections, and our NHL lineup generator when building those lineups today to help you decide which players you should be targeting!

DFS Lineup Construction Thoughts

Welcome round two of the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs! While Florida and Seattle both pulled the upset in game one, it should only make Toronto and Dallas that much more desirable at home in this game, as neither team wants to head out on the road down two games. With that said, I would want to lean on both of those teams. Florida feels more reliable as an alternative than Seattle, but at this point, it would seem the Kraken have some playoff magic going and that shouldn't be completely discounted so if you want to run out a Seattle stack, I get it.

Favorite Goalies to Use for DFS Lineups

Sergei Bobrovsky, G, Florida Panthers

At this point I think we can say the Panthers are hot, and with that so is Bobrovsky who has won four straight starts, and he is coming off a 34-save performance on Tuesday

Jake Oettinger, G, Dallas Stars

If Seattle is going to put 44 shots on goal again, then it will be hard to resist Oettinger. This is a game that I would be surprised if Dallas lost, and I would expect a better performance from Oettinger in this game.

Philipp Grubauer, G, Seattle Kraken

To be honest I still don't really believe in Grubauer, but it is hard to deny his performance at this point. He has won four of his last five games, and for the most part, his save percentages have been good in all of those games.

Favorite Skaters to Use for DFS Lineups

Auston Matthews, C, Toronto Maple Leafs

If nothing else Matthews has been consistent. He has scored in four of Toronto's last five games, and he had five shots in the first game against Florida. When the Leafs needed Matthews the most against Tampa he showed up, and Toronto needs this game tonight.

Oliver Bjorkstrand, W, Seattle Kraken

The performance of Bjorkstrand continues to be encouraging. He has five shots or more in back-to-back games and three goals in his last two games as well. He won't break the bank and he is a player I would want to get into most of my lineups.

Joe Pavelski, W, Dallas Stars

Will Pavelski score four times again tonight? It would be statistically improbable. Could he get a few points, that is much more likely with Pavelski's usage on the top line and powerplay.

Brandon Montour, D, Florida Panthers

Montour is completely on fire. He has scored four goals in his last three games, and he has five shots or more in back-to-back games. You don't see this kind of production from defencemen often, so I would want to ride it out.
