Recommended DFS Starting Goalies

Top Options for Saves

Alex Lyon vs Florida Panthers

Sam Montembeault vs New Jersey Devils

Best Odds for a Win

Nico Daws vs Montreal Canadiens

Sergei Bobrovsky vs Detroit Red Wings

Favorite Goalies to Use for DFS Lineups

Alex Lyon, G, Detroit Red Wings

I am unsure that the Red Wings end up winning this game but in a matchup against the Panthers I like this spot. The Panthers shoot the puck so much yet have a team offense of just over 3 goals per game at home this season. That's a good safe floor for Lyon who could see 35+ shots in this game. Lyon is also 9-5 on the season with a 2.58 GAA so I will back him even in a losing effort.

Nico Daws, G, New Jersey Devils

With this slate down to just two games now I don't really love any of the contenders but Daws gets the edge over the others not named Alex Lyon. Daws has been sharp in his 5 starts this season with a 2.63 GAA and .921 SV% and will get a Habs team that can have issues scoring on the road with 2.8 their average on the season. Don't give up the cheap goals here and the play will be a solid one.

Recommended DFS Skaters

Highest Expected Goal Totals

Florida Panthers vs Alex Lyon (3.76)

New Jersey Devils vs Sam Montembeault (3.74)

Detroit Red Wings vs Sergei Bobrovsky (2.97)

Favorite Skaters to Use for DFS Lineups

Nico Hischier, C, New Jersey Devils

There will be no Jack Hughes tonight for the Devils so Hischier will slot in as the number one center in this Devils offense. This means more minutes and playing with Tyler Toffoli and Jesper Bratt and that's a big deal. The Canadiens allow the 4th most DFS points to centers this season and this man is due for a big game.

Carter Verhaeghe, W, Florida Panthers

Verhaeghe gets a slight bump up today over the rest of the Panthers forwards as the Red Wings are worse against left wingers this season in DFS. You'll also save some money in this spot for a player that plays just as much on the 2nd line and powerplay as Matthew Tkachuk. He also has 23 goals on the season, not too shabby

Cole Caufield, W, Montreal Canadiens

Say what you will about the Habs this season but Caufield is a damn good player who normally returns his 6k price in DFS. This is 18+ DFS points in 3 straight games now for the young star and the Devils defense is not very good allowing 3.9 goals per game at home over the last 30 days.

Brandon Montour, D, Florida Panthers

The Red Wings are now the 5th worst team in DFS this season and there reason to expect that to continue as the Panthers at home are a much better team. Montour also runs the powerplay and sees huge minutes, at 4.4 k on DK today he really just needs some shots and an assist to make him worth playing and he should get those stats.
