NHL DFS Lineups: Best Goalies To Use

Sergei Bobrovsky, G, Florida Panthers

Sergei Bobrovsky has been shaky over his last ten starts, but he has an elite matchup on paper against Columbus. The Blue Jackets are a below-average offence that doesn’t generate many scoring chances. The Panthers are huge favorites at home, and I expect Bobrovsky to have a solid game and pick up the win.

Jonathan Quick, G, New York Rangers

Jonathan Quick is 9-1-0 in his last ten starts and is seeing more playing time down the stretch. The Rangers are a very good offensive team, and they get a matchup with Philadelphia, who are coming off an embarrassing 9-3 loss to the Montreal Canadiens. Quick is a great option in cash games because he has a high chance of picking up the win.

Alex Nedeljkovic, G, Pittsburgh Penguins

The Pittsburgh Penguins have a serious chance of making the playoffs and this game tonight for them is a must-win. Alex Nedeljkovic has become the starter and is 6-0-3 in his last nine starts. He’s won four of his last five games and could very well add another win to his total.

Sam Montembeault, G, Montreal Canadiens

Sam Montembeault has been above average all season but he has stumbled in his last few starts. He’s 3-5-2 in his last ten games, but the Canadiens are playing much better as a team and are coming off a nine-goal performance. I don’t think we should expect them to score as many goals tonight, but I do think Montembeault at his current price tag can hit value.

Devin Cooley, G, San Jose Sharks

It’s always tough to trust a San Jose goalie, especially on the road, but there is a case for Devin Cooley tonight. He was very good in his last outing against St. Louis, and he gets a matchup against a Seattle team that doesn’t score a ton of goals. His $6800 price tag on DraftKings is also very appealing. He’s worth a shot in a GPP because he can hit value without picking up the win.

NHL DFS Lineups: Best Skaters To Use

Auston Matthews, C, Toronto Maple Leafs

Auston Matthews continues his quest for 70 goals tonight and has now scored at least one goal in his last five games. His shot volume hasn’t been as high, but he’s finding the back of the net and hitting value. The Devils aren’t great defensively and the Leafs are going to exploit that. Look for Matthews to inch one goal closer by scoring at least one.

Brayden Point, C, Tampa Bay Lightning

Brayden Point has 13 points in his last ten games, eight of them being goals. He is an elite player and continues to see time on the top line. He has 44 on the season and will most likely add another one before the end of the night.

Nikita Kucherov, W, Tampa Bay Lightning

What more can we say about Nikita Kucherov that hasn’t already been said? He has recorded four straight three-point games and has 21 points in his last ten. He is beyond elite, and no team has figured out how to slow him down. Kucherov will be in every cash game lineup I build because I just can’t afford to fade him.

Artemi Panarin, W, New York Rangers

The Flyers are in shambles, and they are not going to be able to recover. They gave up NINE goals to the Canadiens in their last game and now have to deal with the Rangers, a team loaded with players who can score goals. Artemi Panarin is up to 116 points on the season, and he is going to add a lot more before the season is over. He is in a good spot to record at least two points in this game.

Zach Werenski, D, Columbus Blue Jackets

The Columbus Blue Jackets are a terrible team, but Zach Werenski is an elite defenceman. We know he can rack up points, but he can also get shots on goal and block shots. His floor is very high, so I have no issue spending up to play him in all formats.

Mike Matheson, D, Montreal Canadiens

We got Mike Matheson at a small discount over the last few games and all he did was rack up eight points in five games. He is one point shy of 60 on the season and continues to see a healthy amount of ice time. Montreal is a streaky team, but Matheson has been consistent all year. He’s also blocked three or more shots in four of the last five games. He’s a great option in all formats.
