🔥 Carolina Hurricanes vs. Philadelphia Flyers Prediction

With the Hurricanes up 2-0 with a commanding series lead we head to Philadelphia for games 3 & 4. These are must win games for the Flyers but I don't know if they can help themselves regardless here. The magic from the Penguins series is long gone and though they went into OT in Game 2 the stats weren't in their favor again especially on special teams. 

That all said above the Flyers have been solid playing 5 on 5 this series overall with Game 2 yielding them 2.41 goals expected just behind the Hurricanes 2.76 mark. This continues a trend from Game 1 in which if they can stay out of the box they have a shot to stay in the game. Its due to this thinking that I am going to take the Flyers to win tonight as things seem overdue for a correction and they'll have the home crowd behind them where they were 23-14-4 during the regular season and are 2-1 thus far this postseason. Nothing against Carolina but with the games as close as they've been at even strength sometimes the calls go the other way and that can change a game easily. 

On top of taking the Flyers I do still need an investment in the Hurricanes tonight. Their best line all postseason long as been Taylor Hall, Logan Stankoven and Jackson Blake to the point where they are getting more ice time then Carolina's actual top line. Among qualified lines they genered 4.86 goals per 60 minutes and that's a half goal higher than the 2nd place Ducks line of Carlsson, Terry and Kreider. This line will score a goal or two tonight so give me the centerman Stankoven to continue his postseason tear and record another point.
