🔥 Hurricanes vs Canadiens Predictions: Friday, May 29th

It can't get worse for the Montreal Canadiens tonight, can it? They were thoroughly dominated in Game 4 and never stood a chance of winning. Everyone knows they need to shoot the puck more, but will they actually do it? Can they generate any sustained pressure in the offensive zone? If they want to extend this series, they will need to improve.

We didn't hit our bet on Nick Suzuki getting an assist on Wednesday, but we're going right back to it tonight. He is the key player on the power play and continues to log over 20 minutes of ice time each game. Martin St. Louis will rely heavily on his 101-point player tonight, which gives us a slight advantage. Suzuki has elite vision on the ice and a good chance of making an impact, provided his wingers decide to shoot.

On the Carolina side, one player who has stood out over the last couple of games is K’Andre Miller. The former Ranger defenseman has recorded points in the last two games and is seeing significant ice time. His shot volume is also noteworthy, with seven shots in the last two games. Given Montreal's passive defensive style and Miller's increased ice time, it's reasonable to expect him to get at least two shots on goal. Look for him to make an impact in this game in some capacity.
