🔥 Vegas Golden Knights vs. Carolina Hurricanes Game 5 Predictions

As we head into Game 5 of this Stanley Cup Final the series moves back to Raleigh in what is now a best of 3 series. This one has lacked no drama or excitement to this point with 33 goals scored thus far. Can things continue on this way? Let's dive into the wagers for tonight. 

This going to be highly unpopular but I am leaning towards taking the under in the game tonight. The way the puck is going in the net is just not sustainable analytically and the goaltenders are better than they've been showing. Take the last game for example, there were eight total goals but the expected goals for the teams combined was 5.31. This was a micro chasm of the whole series so far and I mainly blame Frederik Andersen. Carter Hart has to be better and he knows it, the Carolina defense is much better than shown I just truly believe things regress a bit tonight and the total is juiced up too high at this point. 

In addition to the total I find it wild that you can still get value on betting Taylor Hall. He has 18 points in 17 games this postseason yet its -120 for him to record a point as he has averaged per game? He remains one of the most productive forwards on the most productive line for Carolina and each game he is no further than 5th in expected goals generated for the Canes. It could be he falls off for a night but I wouldn't bet on it, Hall to record a point is a big play for me tonight.
