🔥 Anaheim Ducks vs Edmonton Oilers Prediction

The Edmonton Oilers are returning home with the hopes of keeping their Stanley Cup dreams alive. Anaheim secured a controversial win in Game 4, and now there is speculation that Connor McDavid will be a game-time decision. One thing is clear: unless we hear otherwise, McDavid will play. He is incredibly competitive and will do everything possible to be on the ice.

As for the game, the Oilers may extend the series by at least one more game, but, like previous matchups, it’s likely to be high-scoring. Connor Ingram is getting a second chance in goal. While there’s a possibility he will perform better, he won’t be able to do it alone. Anaheim has shown it can generate shots even on the road, and the Oilers' blue line is not strong enough to suppress scoring chances. Therefore, we’ll stick with the Over 7.0 bet until either goalie proves they can be trusted.

🏅Goalie of the Day: Alex Lyon - BUF

Since taking over as the starting goalie, Alex Lyon has been exceptional, allowing only two goals in two games. He has been a key factor in the Sabres' current success. The Bruins will want to put Game 4 behind them and come out with a sense of urgency. Lyon is likely to face a good number of shots, and if the game remains close, we might even see some overtime, which is always exciting. I would choose Lyon over any other goalie on the slate.

🏅Honourable Mention: Jeremy Swayman - BOS

If you subscribe to the revenge narrative, then the Boston team tends to perform much better. In the last game, Jeremy Swayman was left unsupported, and he let the team know his frustration. While he has been performing well in the playoffs, the results haven’t reflected that. We’re getting him at a good discount, which means he might still reach value even without securing a win.

🏅Skater of the Day: Jason Robertson - DAL

Jason Robertson has scored a goal in every game of this series and consistently shoots the puck on goal. He’s averaging over 20 fantasy points per game on DraftKings, yet his price has dropped! It's puzzling, but there’s no time for questions. Just roster him and move on.

🏅Honourable Mention: Cutter Gauthier - ANA

Cutter Gauthier has proven to be a scoring machine in the playoffs, and there’s no reason to believe that will change tonight. The Oilers continue to allow the most goals against, and Gauthier is getting substantial ice time. He had a standout performance in Game 2, scoring two goals and providing an assist. If Ingram isn't ready to play, Gauthier could be in for another big night.

🏅Value Play of the Day: Matt Duchene - DAL

Matt Duchene has been performing remarkably well in this series, recording seven points in four games. With Roope Hintz being ruled out, Duchene is expected to receive an increase in playing time.
