Canucks & Oilers Prediction 

On the last day of the season there are games that matter for the draft lottery and only a pair that matter for the playoffs. This matchup for Vancouver and Edmonton is one of those matchups as if the Oilers win or get a point they will get home ice in the opening round of the playoffs. Everyone seems to be suiting up for the Oilers which is great news and the Canucks have nothing to play for already securing the best lottery odds for the draft. Give me the Oilers to win a no nonsense game at home against a Canucks team that could not care less about playing hockey for 60 minutes this evening.

Goalie of The Day - Joel Hofer - STL

The games don't matter for St. Louis so of course the Blues are on a tear to finish the season. They've won 5 of their last 7 games and they've done so by potting lots of goals, 30 total to be exact. Tonight Hofer will go against a Mammoth team that will be resting starters so he should get some good win equity and the Blues want to win heading into an uncertain offseason. 

Player of The Day: Connor McDavid - EDM

Time to close out the season with the man himself! He is going to win the Art Ross for the 6th time in his career and why not pile on some more in a game that actually matters? Canucks are the worst defense in hockey on the season, should be a field day for the legend to close out the 2026 campaign. 

Value Play of The Day: Troy Terry - ANA

As I said above in the article their are a pair of games that have actual relevance and this Ducks vs Predators game is the other one! Ducks have to play to win as they are before the Oilers game and if they win and Oilers lose in regulation they get home ice. Terry has been super consistent this season as the Ducks top line winger with 56 points and 10.7 DFS points per game. The Predators allow the 6th most DFS points to right wingers on the season so let's lock in this man at 5.9k.
