NHL Picks, Predictions & Best Bets Today, 12/10
Los Angeles Kings vs Seattle Kraken Prediction
Targeting the Seattle Kraken seems easy right now. They have lost six straight games and aren’t showing any signs of improvement. They score an average of fewer than 2.50 goals per game and don’t take many shots. Plus, they’ve let in 21 goals over their last four matches. This is a great opportunity for the Kings, who have been one of the stronger road teams throughout the season. We might not see many goals, but Los Angeles should be able to clinch the win in regulation.

Today's NHL DFS Cheat Sheet & Stacks
Goalie of the Day: Anton Forsberg - LAK
Having Anton Forsberg in the net tonight isn't ideal, but to his credit, his numbers on the road have been solid, and as we’ve discussed, the Kraken just can’t find the net. It will be tough for him to reach value with the low shot volume, but if you’re looking to win, he’s an option worth considering.
Honourable Mention: Spencer Knight - CHI
Spencer Knight has struggled in his recent starts, but to be fair, it’s not entirely his fault. The Blackhawks on the road allow many quality chances, leaving Knight to fend for himself. Chicago is back home facing a Rangers team that has had difficulty scoring goals all season. While they’ve had success on the road, I don’t expect a high-scoring game. Knight’s price is also quite reasonable, making him a good choice in a GPP.
Player of the Day: Connor Bedard - CHI
Sticking with the Blackhawks, Connor Bedard is my favourite forward on the slate. Like many players, he has a lot of success on home ice. I know the Rangers are good on the road, but Bedard at home has been consistent. His price is over $8K, so maybe that helps keep his ownership low.
Honourable Mention: Adrian Kempe - LAK
Adrian Kempe's shot volume has decreased since the start of the season, but his point production on the road remains strong. With Kempe, it’s more about quality than quantity, making him a boom-or-bust pick. I like his matchup against the Kraken and his price as well. I would consider him either as part of a stack or as a single bullet.
Value Play of the Day: Rasmus Andersson - CGY
On the surface, Rasmus Andersson might not seem like a high-value pick, but given his production this season, his price should be around $7K on DraftKings. He has blocked three or more shots in three straight games and has been shooting on goal frequently. The Flames aren’t a top team, but they’ve been playing well lately and have a favourable matchup against the Red Wings. I would consider Andersson a solid option across all formats.
