Welcome to the Fantasy Alarm NHL Playbook. This is your one-stop shop for everything DFS related for tonight's 12-game slate. We have a ton of good options to choose from, but we can’t pick everyone. Let’s dive into the action and see which names we need to keep an eye on.
For the NHL Bets, I’m not going to sugarcoat it: I’ve dug myself into a hole. We have more data to work with, and the season is still very young. I have all the faith in the world that we can turn this ship around. You can get every expert pick, including mine, right here.

Toronto Maple Leafs vs Chicago Blackhawks Prediction
Do you know which NHL team allows the most goals on the road? Yes, the Toronto Maple Leafs. They are terrible defensively, and their goaltending has been no help. Joseph Woll is back, and he is confirmed to get the start. His AHL conditioning stint wasn’t anything spectacular, so this could be a long game for him. The Blackhawks are underdogs because we still think they aren’t good, but the reality is, they’re better than most people give them credit. Spencer Knight and the gang should be able to come away with a win.

St. Louis Blues vs Vegas Golden Knights Prediction
It’s been a rough couple of games for Vegas, but don’t let a slight bump in the road distract you from the fact that Joel Hofer is starting for the Blues. In three home starts this season, he has a .759 SV% and a 7.14 GAA. I’ve never seen numbers this bad. There’s no reason to trust the Blues to get the job done, so we’ll take Vegas in regulation.
- Vegas Golden Knights 60-MIN Money Line (-105 on DraftKings Sportsbook)

Today's NHL DFS Cheat Sheet & Stacks
Â
Goalie of The Day: Logan Thompson - WSH
Logan Thompson has been lights out on home ice. He sports a 1.50 GAA and a .924 SV% at home, so we can trust him to get the job done. New Jersey will be without Dougie Hamilton and Jack Hughes, who is expected to miss 8 weeks due to a freak injury. The Devils aren’t as dangerous with their last player out of the lineup, so we can get Thompson at low-ownership across the board.
Â
Player of The Day: Cutter Gauthier - ANA
The Anaheim Ducks are an elite offensive team, and the numbers support that. They still have work to do when it comes to defending, but for DFS, we don’t care. Cutter Gautheir has been a scoring machine since the beginning of the season, and he’s not going to slow down. On the road, he has seven goals and 52 shots on goal! That is a crazy volume. Minnesota is a mess defensively, so Gautheir has a chance to rack up a ton of shots and find the scoresheet.
Â
Value Play of The Day: Ryan Green - CHI
If you’re trying to get a piece of Chicago without breaking the bank, Ryan Green is a name to remember. The rookie is skating on the second line and the second power play unit. He has just three points this season, but his ice time is ramping up. He played just over 20 minutes against New Jersey, and could continue to see just as much tonight if Frank Nazar can’t go. At his $3000 price tag, he doesn’t have to do much to hit value.
