NHL Picks, Predictions & Best Bets Today, 11/12

 

Sabres vs. Mammoth Prediction 

Its been a great first season for the newly named Mammoth so far and they are enjoying that home cooking! Through 5 games they are 4-1-0 and are potting 3.6 goals per game while allowing just 2.6 goals against. That's bad news for the Sabres tonight who have not played well on the road at all the last several seasons and this year is no different. They are winless in 5 games on the road at 0-3-2 and I don't think they'll be finding that first victory either as they give up a whopping 4.2 goals per game on the road this season. That mark is 3rd highest in the NHL so give me the numbers and trends to continue tonight and I will take the Mammoth to win in regulation on the 60-minute Money Line.

Today's NHL DFS Cheat Sheet & Stacks

Goalie of The Day: Igor Shesterkin - NYR

For all of the shortcomings of the Rangers at home this season they have been damn good on the road and so has Igor Shesterkin. In 6 road starts this season Shesterkin is 4-1-1 with a GAA of 2.13 and a SV% of .918%, pretty great numbers. Its not surprising as he's a former Vezina winner so having him in the lineup in a boost for our DFS teams any day. The Lightning offense is only scoring 2.86 goals per game at home this season too so they are not as threatening for our goalie of the day here. 

Player of The Day: Connor Bedard - CHI

This matchup between the Blackhawks and Devils is one of only two games that has a game tonight higher than 5.5 goals and that's something to target! The Blackhawks are a bit frisky right now scoring 3.31 goals per game and have held their own on home ice. The visiting Devils are a great offensive team too but the defense has been lacking on the road allowing 3.88 goals per game, the 5th most in the NHL. Bedard has 25 points on the young season and has posted massive games recently with an active 8 game point streak that has seen him collect 7 goals!

Value Play of The Day: Dylan Guenther - UTH

Its not the cheapest value play of the day but on a light schedule and having some games I would like to mostly avoid we have to get some Mammoth love in here! Guenther has cooled off a bit from his hot start but the young star still has 6 goals on the season and will be in a prime matchup against a Sabres team that has Swiss cheese for a defense. He also posts 3-4 shots on goal a game to give us a floor if he can't score tonight.
