Welcome to Friday hockey fans, congrats you made it through another week in the world! Today will not be a large slate in the NHL world but with 4 games there are still some things to look into and this article won't let you down. As for today I have a Money Line and game total set to go for you all so let's go get some winners. If you like the rationale then tail the picks, if you don't feel free to fade as sometimes the best bets are the ones not taken!

NHL Best Bets for January 26th

Los Angeles Kings at Colorado Avalanche

Its a big time matchup in the Western Conference tonight as the Kings square off against the Avalanche! Both teams are heading in different directions right now though as the Kings have lost 8 of their last 10 games and the Avs are rolling with 7 wins over the last 10. The one thing that has changed for LA has been the defense and goaltending that has been loosening up of late as they are allowing 3.6 goals per game over the past month on the road. That doesn't bode well as the Avalanche are averaging 4.2 goals per game at home the last 30 days and Nathan MacKinnon is chasing the MVP award. With the Kings defense mixed with the Avalanche defense being poor as well this game should go over the total and that's something Colorado has done in 15 of 24 home games this season. Let's watch some goals go in and make some money in the process!

Pick: Kings & Avalanche Over 6.5 Goals (-110 on BetMGM)

St. Louis Blues at Seattle Kraken

Any game that has the Blues on the road I am going to attack because they are no good frauds! They have been a confounding team to me much of the season with a good overall record despite being a -13 in goal differential on the season. Luckily they show their hands on the road normally where they are 10-13 straight up on the season and are scoring just 2.8 goals per game over the past month. The Kraken on the other hand have been one of the leagues best teams since the holiday season and they need to keep stacking wins to keep pace in a loaded Pacific Division. The Kraken are holding down the fort at home allowing just 1.4 goals per game in recent weeks and have won 6 of their last 10 games overall. The Money Line is a bit chalky though so I am fading that wager in favor of the Kraken to win in regulation also known as the 3-way Money Line or the 60 minute Money Line.

Pick: Seattle Kraken 60-Minute Money Line (-115 on BetMGM)
