Welcome into NHL player prop central for the season on Underdog Fantasy! Player props are becoming one of the hottest growing things in hockey over the past few seasons and I have definitely taken notice as it adds yet another layer to a great game experience. Throughout this season you will find picks offered on the Underdog site that I find the most appealing as there are many to choose from so that's why I'm here to help you sift through the options.

For today's slate, we have 12 games on tap around the NHL and plenty of options for player props! I have highlighted a set of 3 props that I will be following tonight that includes 3 players around the league for the Arizona Coyotes, Tampa Bay Lightning and Vancouver Canucks! Good luck to everyone on the props tonight, let's win some cheddar!

NHL Underdog Fantasy Top Picks November 2

Quinn Hughes, Vancouver Canucks - HIGHER than 6.55 Fantasy Points

Why there isn't a prop for Hughes shots is beyond me but Underdog likely doesn't want the smoke of a great player going up against the Sharks. Either way I am backing him in one way or another and it looks like Fantasy Points is the best avenue to pursue as Hughes averages 3.7 shots on goal this season and 11 total points. As shots count for 1 point and assists count for 4 this should hit easily as the Sharks are terrible allowing the most shots and 3rd most goals per game this season.

Steven Stamkos, Tampa Bay Lightning - HIGHER than 2.5 Shots On Goal

Stammer has had a slow start to the season as he's been banged up for most of it but it seems he is getting his groove back and is in a great spot to break out of this slump. Last season Stamkos went higher than 2.5 shots in 59% of his games and the matchup tonight against the Blue Jackets and they allow the 6th most shots per game at 32.67. He gets big minutes and powerplay time too so let's back Stamkos to right the ship at least for tonight.

Clayton Keller, Arizona Coyotes - HIGHER than 3.0 Shots On Goal

Love Clayton Keller this season and his production for the Coyotes as it seems you get the same thing every single night from him. In 9 games this season Keller is averaging 3.8 shots on goal per game and has topped his total of 3 shots in 4 of those games with 3 pushes. Even on his off nights he doesn't cost you normally so I like him tonight and especially against a Montreal team that allows 35.22 shots per game, this prop is prime for the taking!
