So now that I have your attention, let's get to the “Welcome Talk” and everything you need to know about the Fantasy Alarm DFS Watch List.

“If you give a man a fish, he’ll eat for a day. If you teach a man to fish, he’ll eat for a lifetime.”

We take this adage to heart when it comes to playing NFL DFS. The Fantasy Alarm Playbook isn’t just about handing you a list of players and a lineup to use each week. It is designed to help you learn to be a better DFS player. It’s about teaching you the process used in selecting which players to scout and, eventually, which ones to use.

Therefore, we will begin each week with the Weekly NFL DFS Watch List which is designed to keep tabs on marquee names, chalk plays and, of course, the weekly bargains who may not see the same coverage and exposure. This piece will be continuously updated throughout the week, based on the most recent news and injuries, which means you may see a name or two removed as we get closer to Sunday kick-off. You may also see a few late-week additions who pique our interest for some reason too, and by the end of the week, this Watch List will eventually become your Playbook. Again, it’s about teaching you the process.

So what exactly did last week's Playbook deliver? As always, we like to check in to ensure we remain on the right path.

Scoring The Playbook Week 11

Overall, we were rock-sold for cash games, but we lacked the big punch needed for GPP upside this week. With regard to cash games, we showed you two ways we were building our lineups. The first was with Justin Fields and Saquon Barkley as our base which had us bargain-shopping for wide receivers and tight ends. The second was paying down for Daniel Jones and pairing him up with David Montgomery. Again, staying with the games we expected to see some strong scoring, but taking a different path with our roster construction. Not only were we able to fit a high-priced running back like Josh Jacobs into our lineups, but we also had room for higher-priced wideouts like Stefon Diggs and Amon-Ra St. Brown. As it turned out, the pay-down at QB worked with Jones' big day and those cash lineups sat in the money all day long.

As for GPP tournaments, we just didn't have the juice, as you see from the 3x value column below. No Jamaal Williams and his three touchdowns, no Davante Adams and his two. It happens. I actually had Williams in my original Playbook and he sat in the Watch List all week, but I swapped him out because the Ownership Forecaster was pointing towards heavy ownership of Dameon Pierce and the free square seems like the right place to go. For Adams, it was about facing an elite secondary that featured Patrick Surtain II who has been shutting down receivers all year. Sometimes the wrong play hits, but considering how well the process has done for us so far, it would seem silly to change it, especially when looking back with hindsight. Ebb and flow, my friends. Ebb and flow. Don't be fooled by the braggarts who only screenshot their wins. We preach accountability and learning here. That's the only way you're going to become a better DFS player.

And here are the top lineups you could have created on your own using ONLY the players from the Playbook and Dart Board:
