After going 2-for-2 with my picks in Week 1, I have three picks for you this week that stand out to me as great values on the board, and really as some of my favorite NFL player props this week. After just one week, Saquon Barkley looks like one of the better draft day values, especially if you drafted early and got him outside the first two rounds, while the Raiders prominently featured star wideout, Davante Adams, in his first game with the team. While the injury to Elijah Mitchell has fantasy football managers scrambling to the waiver wire to pick up a potential handcuff for Mitchell, we will look at Deebo Samuel’s total yards this week.  Be sure to check out the NFL weekly projections and the latest NFL Week 1 Odds before locking in any NFL daily fantasy lineups or NFL props.

NFL Player Props Week 2

Saquon Barkley - OVER 0.5 Rush TDs

Did you see what Cleveland did in Week 1 to this Carolina defense? Kareem Hunt and Nick Chubb combined for 187 yards on 33 carries, good for 5.7 yards per carry. Saquon Barkley was dominant in Week 1, and while the Giants didn’t grade out the best in terms of run blocking, per Pro Football Focus, the Carolina run defense was even worse! Barkley showcased that elite athleticism we all know he has, and he looks healthy behind the best offensive line that he’s had in the past couple of seasons. I typically don’t like touchdown props, because they can be a bit fluky, but he is the guy in the red zone for this team, and he can break off a big one at any point.

Davante Adams - OVER 6.5 Receptions

Adams got 46 percent of the targets last week! A 46 percent target share is legit and insanely high! Byron Murphy and the rest of the Arizona secondary are nothing to fear, and the team will move him all over to ensure that they put him in spots to succeed. Adams is a smooth route runner with glue for hands, and it’s obvious that he is Derek Carr’s guy. This game has a line north of 50 points, and the Raiders have the fourth-highest implied total on the slate, so with the Raiders slinging the ball around the yard, Adams will be involved early and often, en route to seven or more receptions.

Deebo Samuel - OVER 75.5 Rush + Rec Yards

Elijah Mitchell is banged up and this is a good matchup against the Seahawks. Samuel has gone for over 100 receiving yards in all three of his matchups against Seattle for his career, and we’ve seen Samuel’s usage in the run game increase when Mitchell is not in the lineup. Samuel was more involved as a runner in the team’s Week 1 loss to Chicago, but he still saw eight targets, so if he makes a couple of extra catches, it’s a totally different outlook heading into this matchup. He’s crushed Seattle in his career, and the offense flows through him, so where is the path with Samuel this week that doesn’t lead to the over 75.5 total yards?
