Fantasy Football Streamers & Stashes For Week 6 Of The 2025 NFL Season
As always, we have our main fantasy football Week 6 waiver wire article that covers every position at the surface level. But Fantasy Alarm members often play in deep leagues that require additional levels of research and nuance. That’s where this article comes in. We take things a step further to look at those deep fantasy football streamers you might need to keep your team afloat. And we also look at the top fantasy football stashes who might not be able to help us right now but could contribute to a championship down the road!
Best Fantasy Football Streamers and Stashes For Week 6
What is a Streamer?
A streamer is a player that you can actually start in your lineup currently. They might not be the flashiest players, but they won’t get you a zero. In deeper leagues with a lot of starting spots, you may need to call on them from time to time - especially when bye weeks and injuries come around.
What is a Stash?
The stashes are players that have appealing upside for one reason or another, but aren’t reliable guys you can start now. Maybe they are injured, and you can put them in an IR spot. Maybe they are handcuffs that could have a big upside if the starter gets hurt. Maybe they are rookies who need time to develop and carve out a role. Whatever it is, we want to keep an eye on them. And stash them on deep benches.Â

NFL Week 6 Quarterback Streamers
Bryce Young, Carolina PanthersÂ
Yahoo: 19% | ESPN: 18% | Sleeper: 21%Â Â
We prefer Jaxson Dart or Sam Darnold from the main article. But Bryce Young is widely available, and he has another great matchup with the Dallas Cowboys this week. The Panthers have been able to lean on the run game and keep drives going, which is a quarterback’s best friend. And the combination of bad defense with Dak Prescott’s willpower has turned the Cowboys into a great fantasy matchup.Â
Mac Jones, San Francisco 49ersÂ
Yahoo: 4% | ESPN: 2% | Sleeper: 6%Â
It’s become obvious that Mac Jones has a good handle on this offense. And that he can run it regardless of whether the star players are playing or not. It helps that he has a good connection with Kendrick Bourne, who went off this week. If Brock Purdy returns this week, this option isn’t on the table for us. But we’ve seen the Tampa Bay Buccaneers get themselves into
- Honorable Mention or Deep League Options: Michael Penix, Trevor Lawrence
Â
NFL Week 6 Quarterback Stashes
Jaxson Dart, New York Giants
Yahoo: 38% | ESPN: 44% | Sleeper: 56%
Dart is still our number one stash if you are looking for upside on the bench. We break it down in the main article, but there is simply no substitution for rushing upside in fantasy football.Â
Spencer Rattler, New Orleans SaintsÂ
Yahoo: 6%| ESPN: 3% | Sleeper: 10%
Most people view Spencer Rattler as a placeholder - whether that be for Tyler Shough or for some future quarterback. Even after his first win this week, we have no delusions that the Saints will start winning a ton of games here. But it’s a bit hypocritical to preach the mobile upside of other quarterbacks that run and not mention that Rattler has run six times in each of his last two games. So, in deeper leagues where you are desperate for any kind of upside, maybe we see if Rattler can continue to develop - and continue to keep running.Â
- Honorable Mention: Dillon Gabriel, Jameis Winston
Â
Â
NFL Week 6 Running Back Streamers
Kareem Hunt, Kansas City ChiefsÂ
Yahoo: 39% | ESPN: 31% | Sleeper: 54%
Kareem Hunt isn’t the most fun pick. And he still operates behind Isiah Pacheco in most facets. But Hunt has some key roles carved out for himself that translate to fantasy. Specifically, he catches a couple of passes a week and seems to be the preferred back for goal-line. A guy getting 8-10 touches on the Kansas City Chiefs with a shot to score in any given week is pretty much exactly what we look for in a streamer.Â
Isaiah Davis, New York JetsÂ
Yahoo: 5% | ESPN: 6% | Sleeper: 12%
Isaiah Davis didn’t get a ton of touches this week. But he did quietly play 33 snaps to 50 for Breece Hall and run essentially the same number of routes. Davis should be good for a couple of targets a week, which is all you need in any sort of PPR format. And he has the additional benefit of being the direct handcuff to Hall now, with Braelon Allen expected to miss 8-12 weeks (which is virtually the entire fantasy season). If we can add a little bit of handcuff upside on top of the streaming value, we lean towards those guys whenever we can.
Tyler Allgeier, Atlanta Falcons
Yahoo: 31% | ESPN: 32% | Sleeper: 35%
Speaking of guys with standalone value that also have immense upside if the starter gets hurt - here’s Tyler Allgeier. He’s generally pretty available, but he’s likely even more available this week after some folks in shallower leagues may have had to drop him for his bye week last week. Teams have been able to run on Buffalo so far this year, so both Bijan Robinson and Allgeier could get some touches here. Just be aware that in super negative game scripts (like the Panthers game), the Falcons can sometimes go away from Allgeier.Â
- Honorable Mentions: Kenneth Gainwell, Justice Hill, Chris Rodriguez
Â
NFL Week 6 Running Back Stashes
Tyjae Spears, Tennessee Titans
Yahoo: 28% | ESPN: 28% | Sleeper: 34%
For many folks, it may have actually been easier to stash Tyjae Spears when he was IR eligible, but he’s at least active and playing football again, which has him closer to viability. Tony Pollard dominated the touches in the first game back for Spears, but head coach Brian Callahan has said that Tyjae Spears’s role is expected to grow moving forward. Pollard has not been super efficient so far, so maybe Spears can eventually add a spark to this offense. For now, he’s just a stash.Â
DJ Giddens, Indianapolis Colts
Yahoo: 2% | ESPN: 2% | Sleeper: 8%
As we mentioned in the main article, Kendre Miller is carving himself out more and more of a role each week, so he’s a stash with some starting appeal. But DJ Giddens and Blake Corum remain the top two stashes in terms of upside. Why? The starter gets a high consolidated snap share in a good offense. Look how great Jonathan Taylor has been. If something were to happen and DJ Giddens gives you a fraction of that, that’s a good asset.Â
Blake Corum, Los Angeles RamsÂ
Yahoo: 17% | ESPN: 16% | Sleeper: 24%
The thought process is similar here to Giddens. Sean McVay runs a very highly consolidated scheme. That sees Kyren Williams get a big snap share week in and week out.Â
- Honorable Mentions:Â Brian Robinson, Emmanuel Wilson, Jaydon Blue
Â
Â
NFL Week 6 Wide Receiver Streamers
Kendrick Bourne, San Francisco 49ers
Yahoo: 4% | ESPN: 7% | Sleeper: 15%
We don’t know for sure how this offense will work when Brandon Aiyuk, Jauan Jennings, Ricky Pearsall, and George Kittle are all back. But we do know this - Kendrick Bourne is the clear No. 5 behind those guys. Usually, the No. 5 isn’t on our radar, but this is an extreme exception. Unless both Pearsall and Jennings are back this week, Bourne will be on the streaming radar again. Bonus points if Mac Jones is the QB here.Â
Jalin Hyatt, New York GiantsÂ
Yahoo: 0% | ESPN: 0% | Sleeper: 2%
The Giants have been hesitant to let the former Biletnikoff Award winner play a big snap share at any time. He’s primarily been reserves to a field stretcher role. But they may have no choice this week, as Malik Nabers is already out for the season and Darius Slayton is at risk of missing this short week with a hamstring injury. There is a chance the Giants use the bigger Beaux Collins in two WR sets, but Hyatt has homerun potential with his speed at any given time.Â
Alec Pierce, Indianapolis ColtsÂ
Yahoo: 5% | ESPN: 2% | Sleeper: 9%
He still needs to be cleared from concussion protocol. But two weeks of missed time with a concussion saw him hit the waiver wire in a ton of leagues, so at least he’s widely available. Adonai Mitchell is deep in the doghouse to the point that Ashton Dulin played over him this week. When Pierce is back, he will take back his full-time role opposite Michael Pittman. He is a bit of a boom/bust field stretcher, but when it comes to a one-week streamers, at least he’s an every-down player that has a chance to boom.
- Honorable Mentions: Romeo Doubs, Tre Tucker, Xavier Legette
Â
NFL Week 6 Wide Receiver Stashes
Jalen Coker, Carolina Panthers
Yahoo: 9% | ESPN: 9% | Sleeper: 14%
Same game plan we have had here for weeks. No one has been able to step up next to Tetairoa McMillan. Xavier Leggette has been pretty bad (and also hurt). David Moore is out with a dislocated elbow. Ja’Tavion Sanders is also out with an ankle issue. Hunter Renfrow, Brycen Tremayne, and Jimmy Horn Jr can’t get beyond a part-time snap share (though they do seem to like Jimmy Horn; that’s a name to know). Jalen Coker could come back and work his way into that WR2 chair pretty quickly. So we’re stashing where we can.Â
Luther Burden, Chicago Bears
Yahoo: 11% | ESPN: 9% | Sleeper: 25%
Classic case of a guy that we like in dynasty who is kind of stuck behind some veterans. He’s not playing enough right now, but he’s flashed his explosive upside. We have to remember that rookie Amon-Ra St. Brown didn’t land a big role in his offense until Week 11 - and then he went crazy. As with Amon-Ra St. Brown, it might take an injury, trade, or some coaching adjustments, but at least we believe in the talent.Â
Tory Horton, Seattle Seahawks
Yahoo: 6% | ESPN: 4% | Sleeper: 14%
This theory remains the same for us, as it does from week to week with our deeper stashes. Klint Kubiak’s offense is not a good setup for the WR3. They use the fullback and a bunch of tight ends. But Horton has flashed every chance he’s gotten. If anything were to happen to JSN or Cooper Kupp, now he’s in one of those two WR chairs, and the upside is big right away. So he’s only a stash, but one that is a handcuff for two players.Â
- Honorable Mentions: Troy Franklin, Brandon Aiyuk (IR), Christian Watson (IR), Jalin Hyatt
Â
Â
NFL Week 6 Tight End Streamers
Cade Otton, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Yahoo: 6% | ESPN: 8% | Sleeper: 9%
Brenton Strange has been this year’s Cade Otton in terms of a guy who is still behind two wide receivers in theory on the depth chart but plays a lot and offers a floor. Liam Coen uses his tight ends in-line for a lot of snaps, but at least they are out there and, when a WR is hurt, they have upside. Cade Otton was less appealing with all the WR additions, but he still plays a ton. And, with Mike Evans and Jalen McMillan out, he offers some semblance of a floor recently. Chris Godwin is clearly not at full strength Chris Godwin yet.Â
AJ Barner, Seattle SeahawksÂ
Yahoo: 2% | ESPN: 1% | Sleeper: 3%
AJ Barner is not super athletic. And we don’t love that he splits snaps with Elijah Arroyo. Barner had a 59% route participation while Arroyo had a 44% route participation this week. But if you are fishing for touchdowns, at least this offense is highly consolidated. They like using the fullback and multiple tight end sets. So that means the tight ends are running just as many routes as the WR3 (51% for Tory Horton).Â
- Honorable Mentions: Chig Okonkwo, Dalton Schultz, Cole Kmet
Â
NFL Week 6 Tight End Stashes
Colston Loveland, Chicago BearsÂ
Yahoo: 27% | ESPN: 33% | Sleeper: 30%
Our top two stashes from last week, Mason Taylor and Theo Johnson, are likely to be added in leagues this week. And we like them over both of these guys. But we need to look a little bit deeper now that they will be added and always have some upside on our radar. Loveland was drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft for a reason, and we’ve seen plenty of rookies start slow. The Bears are in last place in their division, and if things continue to trend that way, we could see some trade action or simply a shift towards letting the younger guys play more.Â
Elijah Arroyo, Seattle SeahawksÂ
Yahoo: 2% | ESPN: 1% | Sleeper: 7%
We like Elijah Arroyo better long-term than AJ Barner. He’s more athletic, and he can also play split end. But he’s also a rookie, and Barner is the far better blocker. If anything were to happen to Barner, now Arroyo would graduate to a much bigger role in a fairly highly consolidated offense. It’s really for deep leagues only.Â
- Honorable Mentions: Ja’Tavion Sanders (IR spot), Elijah Higgins, Oronde Gadsden, Isaiah Likely
