The first week of the fantasy football season is nearly in the books and there's a ton to digest from an action-packed NFL Week 1. However, Week 1 had its fair share of NFL injuries and players trending down fantasy football rankings. Dak Prescott is having surgery on his hand and will miss up to two months of action. Plus, Najee Harris, Keenan Allen, Elijah Mitchell, Tee Higgins, and Chris Godwin also land on the NFL injury report heading into Week 2. Then we had some players moving up the NFL projections and fantasy football weekly rankings, like Michael Thomas in his return for the Saints. With a lot of managers already looking to already make fantasy football waiver wire pickups after one week of action, be careful not to overreact. Let’s look at the first fantasy football stock watch of the 2022 NFL season and talk about which players are rising and falling when it comes to their production potential heading into Week 2.
