NFL DFS Week 14 RB Coach: Jahmyr Gibbs, Bucky Irving, Jordan Mason
Welcome to the Week 14 NFL DFS RB Coach article!! Six of the seven NFL DFS RBs featured in last week’s article scored double-digit fantasy points on both DraftKings and FanDuel platforms. Unfortunately, Travis Etienne was the outlier from the bunch. However, with his two TDs against the Washington Commanders and modest DFS salary, RJ Harvey gave you the biggest bang for your buck. Like last week, there are several moderately priced NFL DFS RBs that you can choose to use in your Week 14 DFS lineups.

NFL Week 14 NFL DFS RBs
There are a few NFL DFS RBs that I’m avoiding this week. It’s looking like Omarion Hampton might play on Monday night against the Philadelphia Eagles and Bears NFL DFS RBs ran all over them on Black Friday. However, Hampton has missed seven weeks, and you have to wonder if the Chargers will ease him back into action. Watch this situation unfold before deciding on whether to use Hampton in DFS. Hampton and Kimani Vidal have very similar DFS salaries in Week 14. If you do decide to start Hampton, leave yourself a little wiggle room so that you can swap him out for the slightly higher-priced Vidal if you need to.
In his debut as the New Orleans Saints’ lead NFL DFS RB, Devin Neal played 81.9% of the team’s offensive snaps. Unfortunately, he was only able to produce single-digit DraftKings and FanDuel fantasy point production. He does have a good matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but the Saints have one of the worst offensive lines in football, and even Alvin Kamara couldn’t rush for more than 3.6 YPC running behind it this season. With four teams on a bye, I’m OK with using him in season-long leagues, but I am not putting Neal in my DFS lineups.
Kenneth Walker also won’t be in my DFS lineups in Week 14. He had a one-week boost in usage after the Seahawks suggested that he’d have a larger role in their offense moving forward. However, Walker III’s snap rate declined from 62.5 in Week 12 to 55.2 in Week 13, and Zach Charbonnet continues to vulture TDs away from him. Walker III and Charbonnet are reasonably priced in DFS, but that reflects the uncertainty of their potential Week 14 production. I’ll use Walker III in my season-long leagues, but not in DFS.
I was going to recommend starting Cleveland Browns NFL DFS RBÂ Quinshon Judkins in DFS, but a closer look at his Week 14 opponent made me change my mind. He takes on the Tennessee Titans, who have given up the second-most rushing TDs to NFL DFS RBs this season. However, over their last four games, the Titans have shut down the run (3.62 YPC) and are giving up the lowest average PPR FPPG 13.4 during that time span.
There are, of course, several NFL DFS RBs that can help you win some cash in Week 14. These are some of my favorites!Â

NFL DFS RB Picks For Week 14
De’Von Achane, RB, Miami Dolphins
DraftKings: $8,800 | FanDuel: $9,200
We’ve previously pointed out Achane’s consistency in this week’s column. He’s averaging close to 20 and over 22 fantasy points per game in the FanDuel and DraftKings platforms, respectively. He has a good matchup against the New York Jets in Week 14 who have given up seven total TDs to NFL DFS RBs in their last four games. Achane has scored three TDs and is averaging 5.11 YPC in four career games against the Jets.Â
Jahmyr Gibbs, RB, Detroit Lions
DraftKings: $8,600 | FanDuel: $9,300
With WRs Amon St. Brown and Kalif Raymond and TE Brock Wright missing practices this week, Gibbs will probably be even more involved in the Lions’ offense than usual. He takes on the Dallas Cowboys in Week 14, and they’ve given up the fifth most receptions to RBs (62) this season. Â
James Cook, RB, Buffalo Bills
DraftKings: $7,800 | FanDuel: $9,300
Cook III is coming off a big Week 13 in which he torched the Pittsburgh Steelers’ run defense for 145 rushing yards. Look for him to keep the momentum rolling against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 14. The Bengals have given up the most PPR fantasy points per game and the most total TDs to NFL DFS RBs this season. The Bills have been running the ball more lately (50.78% of the time in their last 3 games) and will likely continue to do so in Week 14 against the hapless Bengals' run defense.Â
Â
Â
Derrick Henry, RB, Baltimore Ravens
DraftKings: $7,500 | FanDuel: $8,700
As we mentioned earlier, James Cook exposed and showed the vulnerability of the Steelers’ run defense. Look for Henry to also take advantage of the Steelers’ recent inability to keep NFL DFS RBs in check. Henry and his $150,000 body keep chugging along. He has scored at least one TD in each of his last three games. Henry is averaging over 21 DK fantasy points and over 19 FD fantasy points during that time span.Â
Bucky Irving, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
DraftKings: $7,000 | FanDuel: $8,000
It’s been a while since we’ve been able to use Irving in DFS lineups. In his first game back in Week 13 after missing seven games, Irving was supposed to be on a snap count, but he played 52.5% of the Buccaneers’ offensive snaps. Look for him to be even more involved in the Bucs’ offense in Week 14. Irving has a very good matchup against the New Orleans Saints, who are giving up 4.54 YPC to NFL DFS RBs over the past 4 games. In Irving’s last two games vs the Saints, he’s averaging 5.15 YPC and has scored two TDs.
Josh Jacobs, RB, Green Bay Packers
DraftKings: $6,800 | FanDuel: $8,600
Jacobs seems healthy after playing 54% of the Packers’ offensive snaps in Week 13. He has a good matchup against the Chicago Bears, who are giving up 4.74 YPC to NFL DFS RBs over the last five weeks. Jacobs has scored five TDs in five career games against the Bears.
Â
Â
Chase Brown, RB, Cincinnati Bengals
DraftKings: $6,700 | FanDuel: $7,300
As we’ve previously mentioned in this column, Brown has been hot of late. In his last three games, he’s averaging 5.5 YPC and five catches per game. Brown takes on the Buffalo Bills in Week 14, and they’ve given up the most rushing TDs (15) and 5.15 YPC to NFL DFS RBs this season.Â
Breece Hall, RB, New York Jets
DraftKings: $6,500 | FanDuel: $7,500
Hall has been a huge part of the Jets’ offense this season and played 87.9% of the team’s offensive snaps in Week 13. He takes on a familiar foe in the Miami Dolphins in Week 14, and he’s had good success against them in the past. Hall has averaged 4.77 career YPC against the Dolphins. The Dolphins have played better against the run lately, but are still yielding 4.21 YPC to NFL DFS RBs over their last 4 games. Hall is averaging over 15 DraftKings fantasy points and over 13 FanDuel points over his last two games.
Jordan Mason, RB, Minnesota Vikings
DraftKings: $5,800 | FanDuel: $6,000
Whether or not you use Mason in DFS depends on your risk tolerance. It’s tough to count on the Vikings offense for just about any type of fantasy production these days, but Mason does have a chance at being fantasy relevant in Week 14. If   Aaron Jones (shoulder) is inactive this week (which seems likely), Mason will be the lead NFL DFS RB for the Vikings against a Washington Commanders team that has had trouble defending against the run all season long. They’ve given up the fourth most PPR fantasy points per game for the season and 4.80 YPC to NFL DFS RBs over their last four games. It’s up to you to decide if his potential uptick in volume will lead to increased fantasy production, but keep in mind that Mason is averaging 6.0 YPC in his last four games as Jones Sr.’s backup.Â
