I dealt with some setbacks in Week 11, with Josh Jacobs and Jaylen Warren suffering in-game injuries. Rico Dowdle and Woody Marks were bad calls, too. However, Chase Brown, De’Von Achane, and Christian McCaffrey helped me salvage what was a tough week. Let's now get to the top Running Back plays on DraftKings and FanDuel in the NFL DFS Week 12 RB Coach. 

 

 

 

NFL DFS Week 12 RB Coach for FanDuel & DraftKings Fantasy

With the Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Chargers, Miami Dolphins, and Washington Commanders all on a bye this week, we lose the ability to use De’Von Achane in our NFL DFS lineups in Week 12. Achane has been one of the most consistent and productive NFL DFS RBs this season, but we still have many good options to choose from as we create our Week 12 NFL DFS lineups.

NFL Week 12 Running Backs

I’m still not comfortable using Saquon Barkley in my NFL DFS lineups. His DFS salary (DK $7,500/FD $9,000) doesn’t justify the type of production he’s been providing NFL DFS players this season. Ashton Jeanty is another NFL DFS RB I’m avoiding this week. He has a very tough matchup against a very good Cleveland Browns run defense, and the talented rookie NFL DFS RB has had an understandably tough time running behind a terrible Las Vegas Raiders offensive line.

There are, of course, several NFL DFS RBs who have good Week 12 matchups that will be in my NFL DFS lineups. These are some of my favorite NFL DFS RBs that should be able to help you win some cash this week.  

 

 

 

NFL DFS RB Top Tier Picks for Week 12

Christian McCaffrey, RB, San Francisco 49ers

DraftKings: $9,500 | FanDuel: $9,700

I shouldn’t have to sell you on using McCaffrey in your NFL DFS lineups, but one of the things that makes him such a valuable NFL DFS RB is his ability to catch passes out of the 49ers’ backfield. He’s averaging just under seven catches per game. McCaffrey has an especially good matchup against the Carolina Panthers in Week 12. They’ve given up the fourth most catches (54) to NFL DFS RBs this season.

Jahmyr Gibbs, RB, Detroit Lions

DraftKings: $8,300 | FanDuel: $9,100

Gibbs’ relatively modest NFL DFS salary makes him one of the most affordable top-tier NFL DFS RB options for Week 12. David Montgomery vulturing carries and TDs away from Gibbs is always a concern, but Gibbs has been the Lions’ preferred red zone option among their NFL DFS RBs this season. Gibbs takes on the New York Giants in Week 12, and they’ve given up the second-most total rushing yards to NFL DFS RBs this season, as well as 5.97 YPC to the position over the past five weeks.

Derrick Henry, RB, Baltimore Ravens

DraftKings: $7,600 | FanDuel: $8,400

Henry takes on the New York Jets in Week 12, and while their run defense has improved lately, they are still allowing 4.21 YPC to NFL DFS RBs over the past four weeks. Henry may not be having the type of season we’ve grown accustomed to seeing from him, but he’s averaging 4.9 YPC, and his 51.8 rushing success rate is above his career average. His average rushing attempts per game have increased from 12.8 in his first five games to 20.4 over his last five games. 

 

 

 

NFL DFS RB Mid-Tier Picks for NFL Week 12

TreVeyon Henderson, RB, New England Patriots

DraftKings: $6,700 | FanDuel: $7,500

Keep an eye on Rhamondre Stevenson’s status before deciding to use Henderson in DFS this week. Stevenson has missed the last two games due to a toe injury, but the way that Henderson has been playing, the Patriots are going to let Stevenson take all the time he needs to recover. Henderson has been averaging over 30 NFL DFS fantasy points per game on both the DraftKings and FanDuel platforms over the past two weeks. He has a great matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals, who are giving up the most PPR FPPG (33.1) and the most rushing yards (1371) to NFL DFS RBs this season.

Travis Etienne, Jr., RB, Jacksonville Jaguars

DraftKings: $5,900 | FanDuel: $7,000

Despite Bhayshul Tuten’s playing time increasing of late, Etienne Jr. is still worth using in NFL DFS lineups in Week 12. He takes on the Arizona Cardinals, who have given up the seventh most PPR FPPG and the fourth most rushing TDs (10) to NFL DFS RBs for the season. Etienne Jr. has scored over 17 DK points and 16 FD points over each of the past three weeks. Tuten suffered an ankle injury in Week 11, the severity of which is unknown as this article is being written.

 

 

 

NFL Week 12 DFS RB Value Picks

Woody Marks, RB, Houston Texans

DraftKings: $5,600 | FanDuel: $6,200

Things didn’t work out when I started Marks in Week 11, but he is clearly the Texans’ primary NFL DFS RB, and he does have a good matchup against the Buffalo Bills in Week 12. The Bills have had trouble stopping the run all season long. They’ve given up 5.36 YPC and the most rushing TDs (14) to NFL DFS RBs this season.

Kenneth Walker, RB, Seattle Seahawks

DraftKings: $5,400 | FanDuel: $7,200

It finally sounds like Walker III has earned a larger role in the Seahawks’ run game moving forward, and it couldn’t have happened at a better time. Walker III takes on the Tennessee Titans in Week 12, who have been very friendly to NFL DFS RBs. The Titans have given up 4.89 YPC to the position over the past five weeks and the second most rushing TDs (12) to NFL DFS RBs this season.
