How could we not start here? As we already mentioned, Tucker Kraft scored for us against the Lions this past Sunday afternoon to celebrate the famous fantasy football holiday. He scored for us nice and early as well, and the reasoning remains the same: the TE position against Detroit is ideal for cashing NFL anytime TD picks.
Kraft’s touchdown catch made it 10 by TEs in just six games for the Lions, and that was after Brian Branch came back from his injury. Justin Jefferson may be the big fantasy name that fans think of when it comes to the Minnesota Vikings, but it’s Hockenson that scored their only TD last Sunday, catching four of his five targets in the process.
He may not rack up a ton of yardage (he still could here), but we’re kicking off our best NFL anytime TD picks for Week 8 with T.J. Hockenson scoring a TD (+270 at Fanatics).
Ravens vs. Bills
Best TD scorer: Josh Allen (-145)
We’re swapping from a TE to QB and getting longer odds, and while that is strange in itself, it’s still a spot that we love. Fantasy managers were disappointed with Josh Allen this past weekend - not because of his play; the Buffalo Bills were on bye. Now they host the Baltimore Ravens with an extremely high total, so several NFL anytime TD picks cashing is expected.
One of which should be the ultimate dual-threat QB (well, a healthy Lamar Jackson can fight us on that one). Despite being a QB and having James Cook, last year’s rushing champ, next to him, Allen has had at least one rushing TD in EVERY game other than Week 6! Through the Bills’ first six games, he’s racked up EIGHT rushing TDs!

It was just two weeks ago that we cashed in with the Las Vegas Raiders RB, and that’s how we’re going to close out our trifecta for Week 8. We know that the team won’t be turning to rookie QB Fernando Mendoza under center just yet, but they still get to face the New York Jets. That’s ideal for cashing NFL anytime TD picks on the ground.
Interestingly enough, Jeanty was an extreme threat out of the backfield this past Sunday, easily outperforming his rushing with eight catches for 61 yards and a beautiful over-the-shoulder TD catch.
