If there is one guy synonymous with NFL anytime TD picks today, it’s Christian McCaffrey. Well, with him and the rest of the San Francisco 49ers hosting Monday Night Football in Week 6, why not add some TDs to the mix? They’re hosting Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders, so there are plenty of names to consider in terms of finding the end zone. That’s why we’re here to bring you our best NFL anytime TD predictions for MNF, including a best bet, value/longshot pick AND $1,000 Fanatics Sportsbook promo code bonus!
🏉 Commanders vs. 49ers Anytime Touchdown Scorer Picks
It was far from just CMC who found the endzone in what was ultimately a 32-29 victory over the Seattle Seahawks to keep the 49ers as one of the NFL’s three remaining undefeated teams. While they’ve been cashing NFL expert picks and NFL anytime TD picks today across the board, it would have been a tie prediction needed for Washington’s last game.
That said, their 27-27 tie with the New York Giants also featured plenty of touchdowns. That included two rushing TDs by QB Jayden Daniels, who was able to keep his elbow intact. Of course, the discussions have instead been about his clock management at the end of the game. Regardless, we’re here to focus on the best NFL anytime TD picks today, so let’s get into it!
🥇 Best Commanders vs. 49ers Anytime TD Pick: Mike Evans (-125 at Fanatics)
As you’d expect, Christian McCaffrey has some of the shortest odds of any player to find the endzone that we’ve seen this season, coming in at a juicy -285 or so. Not only that, but each of the top three players expected to score are all on San Francisco. That makes sense for NFL anytime TD picks today given that they’re significant home favorites.
Speaking of the game markets, we also have one of the higher totals of the Week 6 slate, so we should expect plenty of scoring overall. Well, after what we saw from Mike Evans and Brock Purdy - one of the top MVP candidates - why not go back to the well? Evans got 10 targets and caught seven of them for 113 yards and a TD, and now he gets an ideal matchup that he can massively capitalize on as long as he is able to suit up.
Washington had an embarrassing pass defense last season, and so far this year, they’ve allowed the fourth-most passing yards per game and are tied for the most passing TDs allowed at 14. Therefore, it feels fantastic to kick off our best NFL anytime TD picks today with Mike Evans to score a TD (-125 at Fanatics).
🎯 Best Value Anytime TD Scorer: Stefon Diggs (+175 at Fanatics)
That price above is more than reasonable for an elite WR and in comparison to CMC’s odds, but there’s still not even a plus sign for us to enjoy. So, let’s change that. Dre Greenlaw’s suspension may have you wanting to focus on Commanders RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt, but we just can’t trust their rush offense with our NFL anytime TD picks today.
In terms of yardage, Daniels has helped skew things, but at the end of the day, their offensive line just doesn’t instill much confidence. So, we’ll exploit the 49ers secondary as well, which actually ranked inside the top 10 in terms of passing TDs allowed last season. This season hasn’t been as poor, but we did just see Jaxon Smith-Njigba go off for 102 and a TD.
We aren’t saying that Stefon Diggs is that caliber anymore, but now expected to return, the Commanders offense needs him. He had three scores across the first two games of the season, nine targets in two of four games, and never less than six.
It’s not our usual longshot spot, but value-wise, we love adding to our best NFL anytime TD picks today with Stefon Diggs to score a TD (+175 at Fanatics).
