We kick off our PrizePicks NFL Picks for MNF with the 49ers. It has been an interesting offseason for San Francisco given the drama surrounding receiver Brandon Aiyuk who held out for all of training camp and only recently signed his contract extension.

Aiyuk’s offseason along with his expected matchup against Sauce Gardner should put us on Deebo Samuel here today as he has had the work this preseason during training camp and will draw the easier matchup in this game against the Jets.

I’d be looking for Purdy to hit Samuel in space and can envision Deebo breaking off a big gain in this matchup here this evening.

He did that while playing with some very below average quarterbacks. This season, we hope, will be different with a healthy Aaron Rodgers under center.  

Rodgers still has a big arm and the Jets offense will push the ball down the field. The 49ers secondary was just OK last year, with their linebackers and pass rusher really anchoring their defense.
