PrizePicks is continuing to run its “Free Square September” this Sunday, letting you select Caleb Williams at just 0.5 passing yards as a pick that's all but sure to hit.

You have to pair the Williams free square with at least one other winning pick for your entry to hit though, which is exactly what we're here to help with.

PrizePicks NFL DFS Picks for Sunday NFL Week 3, 9/22

The season is still very young, but we at least have a second week's worth of games to try to differentiate the favorable trends we should follow from the flashes in the pan that we should continue to fade. PrizePicks offers NFL DFS games though, so ultimately we're only worried about predicting what's going to happen in these Week 3 games.

The games I'm targeting are the Browns hosting the hapless Giants, the Packers playing the Titans in Music City, and the Panthers trying to change their luck (and their QB!) with a visit to Las Vegas to play the Raiders. Coincidentally, my projections have me picking running backs from each game: Jerome Ford, Tony Pollard, and Zamir White.

Pair any or all of these picks with the Caleb Williams free square and let's win some money together!

PrizePicks NFL Week 3 Pick: Jerome Ford over 49.5 Rushing Yards

PrizePicks NFL Play Of The Week!

Jerome Ford remains the #1 running back on one of the more run-heavy teams in the NFL. Last year, Cleveland had more rushing attempts than all but three other teams. They're 6.5-point home favorites against the Giants in Week 3, so I expect the game script to set them up to really lean into their running attack more than they have in the previous two weeks.

Ford is averaging a full 5.7 YPC. The Giants are allowing the 5th-most rushing yards per game (163.0) and the 4th most yards per attempt (5.3) so far this young season, and there are no signs of any improvements incoming. Given their offensive struggles and their supremely difficult matchup against the stout Browns defense, this has all the makings of a high-volume, high-yardage game for Ford.

PrizePicks NFL Week 3 Pick: Zamir White over 58.5 Rushing Yards

It might just be coach-speak, but Las Vegas Head Coach Antonio Pierce says they want to get White 20+ touches against the Panthers this week. I think there's some truth behind the statement. It's as good of a week as any for the Raiders to lean on their rushing attack.

The visiting Panthers are allowing 4.9 YPC and the 2nd-most rushing yards per game (199.5) in the entire NFL. Last week, the Raiders mustered a miniscule 27 total rushing yards in their road upset over the Ravens. This was as much due to game script as inefficiency. Las Vegas was losing for much of the game and leaned on its passing attack to put together a 20-point second half.

The Raiders are 6-point home favorites in Week 3. Carolina is making a QB change, benching Bryce Young in favor of Andy Dalton. While that will make a positive difference, I don't expect it to change the likely outcome of the Raiders taking a lead and trying to keep it throughout the game. The matchup and opportunity both check all the boxes we want to see with our PrizePicks NFL plays, so I'm zooming in on Zamir White to have the volume and running room to race past his 58.5 rushing yard projection.

PrizePicks NFL Week 3 Pick:Tony Pollard over 14.5 Rushing Attempts

The last of our Week 3 PrizePicks NFL picks is Tony Pollard to rack up more than 14.5 rushing attempts. He has gone over this number in each of the Tennessee's first two games, and he should do the same against Green Bay this Sunday.

it's a small sample, but Packers opponents are averaging 28 rushing attempts per game. This comes after their Week 2 win at home over the Colts, which saw Indianapolis all but abandon the run as they attempted to come back from a 13-point second-half deficit. This ties in to the trend we saw in 2023, which was to attack the Green Bay defense on the ground. Last year, the Packers saw the seventh-most rushing attempts against and allowed the fifth-most rushing yards per game.

Rumors of a backfield timeshare in Tennessee have been greatly exaggerated. Tony Pollard has totaled 19 and 22 touches, respectively, in Weeks 1 and 2 this year. Tyjae Spears, his backfield mate, had only 8 touches in each game. Spears also was limited in practice most of the week and enters the weekend officially listed as Questionable with an ankle injury.

Regardless of whether or not Spears plays, Pollard should once again be the bellcow back. The Titans are currently listed as 2.5-point home favorites and, if that line comes to life, it's likely to be a result of Pollard's play and not that of QB Will Levis. The second-year signal-caller has thrown more INTs (3) than TDs (2), been sacked seven times, and is sits near the bottom of every significant statistical table.

They'd feed him anyway, but in Week 3, the Titans will need to feed Pollard even more if they want to have a fighting chance for a win.

Play Pollard over 14.5 rushing attempts at PrizePicks.
