Well, we saw our first rookie QB Fernando Mendoza action this season, but not in the way Raiders fans would have preferred. Ok, it could have been worse with a Kirk Cousins injury, but it still wasn’t great, as it came due to getting blown out by Drake Maye and the New England Patriots.

Speaking of young, notable names in Las Vegas, we nearly didn’t have Ashton Jeanty on the field to target for NFL expert picks. Therefore, we’re going to have to keep an eye on him for Bills vs. Raiders predictions and yet another game against an AFC East team. This time, they’ll be at home and getting an MVP candidate on a short week.

As for this matchup, we already noted that the Bills WRs are banged up, and Las Vegas is going to need to be as healthy as possible here, as the Buffalo defense is what they need to exploit. Expecting to completely shut down Josh Allen and James Cook is a pipe dream, so it’s all about trying to keep pace.

We also can’t ignore that the Bills vs. Raiders odds are almost begging us to lock in Buffalo -6 or so since it’s staying under that key number of seven.
