NFL Week 18 is here – the final regular season week of the 2023 NFL season and the final week we get a full  complement of games for the DFS main slate. I'll spare you all the “it's amazing how time flies” rhetoric because we already know how quickly the NFL season has come and gone and how psyched everyone is for the NFL playoff match-ups to be set. What we want is one last shot at making some money. It's been a fantastic season so far and if you have been riding with the Fantasy Alarm #FAmily all year, you should be in a great spot for this final week. Our cash game play has been on-point all year and while no one is screaming about how they took down a six-figure win, I know for a fact that I, and many of you, have grinded out some real money in a time where it has been incredibly needed. Your cash game play should have offset your GPP tournament fees all year and any GPP earnings that have come in should be keeping you in the black instead of just breaking even. If not, then let the lesson be learned for next year because if you thought we had a strong NFL season this year, just wait until 2024.

But I don't want to get ahead of ourselves just yet. We've got one more week to go and this is going to be a spectacularly crazy week. First and foremost, this week is the perfect example of why we play cash games. We know which teams have an incentive to play and which ones don't. We know which teams are sitting superstars and which teams are giving bigger opportunities to lesser-known players. People are going to go bonkers this week with so many different directions to go. Are you going to invest in the dart-throws like Jordan Mason or Pierre Strong in order to get CeeDee Lamb into your lineups? Are you going to invest heavily in this Buffalo Bills/Miami Dolphins game on FanDuel because, for whatever stupid reason, they decided to make the final Sunday Night Football part of the DFS main slate? If you've absorbed the process here at Fantasy Alarm, then you know exactly which direction to go for your cash games. And if you don't, we'll help you along. As for GPP tournaments, this is where I pull back how much I play. With so many directions to go, people are going to build some whacked out lineups. That's fine if they try to compete with us in cash games. We'll dominate them as usual. But it will make the GPP tournaments a little crazier, so be wary of that. If most of the chalk hits, the GPP tourney pay-lines will be high, but if it doesn't, we could come out even stronger.

Even though we are at the tail-end of the NFL regular season, we've actually seen a number of new subscribers following our holiday promos. Who doesn't want one last shot at the big money? So before we dive right into the plays, for those who may be new to the Fantasy Alarm #FAmily, here is a rundown of the NFL DFS content you should be studying while creating your winning DFS lineups. Let's start with our NFL tools. We continue to crunch the numbers and tweak our algorithms so that our daily fantasy football projections are the best in the industry and that, in turn, has improved things like our Lineup Generator/DFS Optimizer, our DFS Compare tool and even our NFL DFS Ownership Projections. Again, all right here on one site for your convenience.

Again, if you are new to the #FAmily, welcome! All the aforementioned tools are, obviously, at your disposal as well, but please allow me to point you towards more of the content and tools we provide to help you crush your DFS contests each week. It also makes for a nice introduction to our DFS team.

QB Coach – Jon Impemba (@jimpemba777)

RB Coach -- Justin Vreeland (@JustinVreeland)

WR Coach -- Colby Conway (@colbyrconway)

TE Coach -- Andrew Cooper (@CoopAFiasco)

D/ST Coach -- Dan Malin (@RealDANlanta)

In addition to the positional coaching pieces, you also have things like the DFS Watch List, where I provide you with a list of players I am looking at throughout the week. We have the NFL DFS Show with me & Jon Impemba, which you can click below and watch as we talk through each position, our favorite plays and even build a lineup on DraftKings. Impemba also does the Value Plays & Contrarian Corner videos so be sure to check that out as well. Also, don't miss out on the complete NFL Weekly Match-Up Report from Britt Flinn (@britt_flinn) and the all-important WR/CB Match-Up Report from JB Barry (@FantasyCoachJB).

If you haven't started bookmarking everything, do yourself a favor and do it now. Yes, that's a lot of content and sure, it can be overwhelming, but these pieces come out throughout the week, so if you're seeing all of this for the first time, just know that it all starts trickling out on Tuesday so you can attack the info steadily rather than get slammed all at once. I would suggest that you go through the NFL DFS Menu and start bookmarking a lot of these pieces for ease of use in the future.

Once you've got all of that under your belt, it's time to look at the Playbook. It usually arrives in the early afternoon on Saturdays which gives you ample time to read through everything, make your notes and begin working on your lineups. On Sunday morning, we will provide you with Example Lineups for both cash games and GPP tournaments on DraftKings and FanDuel, so you have something to compare your own to before finalizing.

Pretty sure that sums up the basics, and as you should know, if you have any questions, we are all available via the Fantasy Alarm Discord Chat, social media and even email, so please do not ever hesitate to ask for help. That's what we are here for.

If you are ready, let's now dive into the Week 18 NFL DFS Playbook!

Don't forget to listen/watch the NFL Week 18 DFS Show with me & Jon Impemba while you build your lineups!
