The NFL Week 16 Saturday slate has transformed into a high-stakes puzzle following a wave of major 2025 personnel shifts and a brutal late-season injury report. We open with an NFC East clash as the Philadelphia Eagles look to punch their playoff ticket against a Washington Commanders team forced to go back to their backup QB. The night cap takes us to Soldier Field for a classic Packers vs. Bears rivalry, where the Chicago offense will look entirely different due to missing rookie stars. With elite players sidelined and "next man up" value emerging in every quadrant, this two-game slate is all about finding the right anchors.

NFL DFS Slate & Game Overviews

This Saturday features two games with high-leverage outcomes. The Eagles are heavy road favorites in D.C., while the Packers/Bears total remains the highest on the slate despite the missing firepower.

Priority Plays: Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, A.J. Brown, DJ Moore, Colston Loveland.

Key Value Spots: Olamide Zaccheaus, Marcus Mariota, Emanuel Wilson (If Jacobs Sits)

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Washington Commanders

Spread: Eagles -6.5

Total: 44.5

Eagles NFL DFS Breakdown

Jalen Hurts is the clear-cut top QB. Although the Eagles will be without All-Pro RT Lane Johnson. Facing a Commanders defense that has been hit hard in the secondary, Hurts is a priority stack with A.J. Brown or DeVonta Smith.

Saquon Barkley remains a "must-consider" pay-up option. He has been the engine of this offense all year, and Philly may lean on a ball-control rushing attack once they take the lead in this game.

Commanders NFL DFS Breakdown

With Daniels out, Marcus Mariota offers a dual-threat rushing floor at a significant discount. He will be throwing to a high-upside duo of Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel. Deebo has been a Swiss Army knife for Washington, and his YAC ability is vital with a backup QB under center.

In the backfield, Chris Rodriguez is back after missing last week but Jacory Croskey-Merritt is coming off a breakout Week 15 performance, "Bill" is a potentially high-volume value play, especially if Chris Rodriguez remains limited.

Green Bay Packers vs. Chicago Bears

Spread: Packers -1

Total: 46.5

Packers NFL DFS Breakdown

Jordan Love enters this game fully healthy, but his backfield is in flux. Josh Jacobs (Knee/Ankle) is officially Questionable after a "Did Not Practice" week. If he is ruled out, Emanuel Wilson becomes an automatic "free square" play.

In the passing game, Jayden Reed has looked good since returning and Christian Watson (Chest) and Dontayvion Wicks (Ankle) are both Questionable; if Watson plays, his vertical threat is the best way to attack the Chicago secondary. If he sits, Romeo Doubs becomes a target monster and tight end Luke Musgrave shouldn't be ignored either after a season best performance against the Broncos last week.

Bears NFL DFS Breakdown

Chicago is facing a nightmare at wide receiver. Both Rome Odunze (Foot) and Luther Burden (Ankle) are OUT. This places the focus on DJ Moore, who should see a large amount of targets and massive ownership.

The biggest beneficiary of the thinned-out receiving corps could very well be rookie TE Colston Loveland. Loveland has already established himself as a primary target for Caleb Williams. With Moore drawing bracket coverage and Cole Kmet (Ankle) playing at less than 100%, Loveland is the top TE play on the slate. Olamide Zaccheaus will also be a very chalky value play as he steps into a larger role as well. In the backfield, D'Andre Swift (Groin) is Questionable; but even if active Kyle Monangai is always in play given his role in the offense, especially in the red zone.
