Welcome to the FREE preview of the NFL Week 12 DFS Playbook for Thanksgiving Day 2023!

Gobble, gobble, #FANation and welcome to everyone taking advantage of the Fantasy Alarm Thanksgiving Freeview! I hope this special NFL Week 12 Thanksgiving Playbook finds you and your family well here during the Thanksgiving holiday. It continues to be quite the rollercoaster ride as the world continues to strive for some normalcy in these crazy times and Thanksgiving is, hopefully, a time where you can get together with family and friends to celebrate each other while remembering, and being thankful, for those who cannot. Even if you are all gathered around the TV. locked into watching football, your fantasy teams and, of course, your DFS lineups all day long, keep in mind the importance of friends and family.

Many of us have lost people along the way and need a little camaraderie in our lives so always be open to meeting new people and being there for those who may not be so lucky to have a family or friends nearby. If you find yourself alone, hit me up on Twitter (@rotobuzzguy) or in the Fantasy Alarm Discord. I'll also be in the BettorCast App all day watching football and happy to chat with you all during the games. The app is 100% FREE and we will be running contests to win tickets redeemable for free prizes like autographed sports memorabilia through the day. Also, for every download of the app, Fantasy Alarm will donate $1 to Fantasy Cares, so please share the link and info with all of your friends and family. We will also have people monitoring Discord throughout the day. Something I always remind myself of during the holidays is a quote from Richard Bach who once wrote, "The bond that links your true family is not one of blood, but of respect and joy in each other's life. Rarely do members of one family grow up under the same roof." I take these words to heart, especially because my family is this #FAmily.

With the free preview we are offering, we expect a lot of new faces, so before we dive right into the plays, for those who may be new to the Fantasy Alarm #FAmily, here is a rundown of the NFL DFS content you should be studying while creating your winning DFS lineups. Let's start with our NFL tools. We continue to crunch the numbers and tweak our algorithms so that our daily fantasy football projections are the best in the industry and that, in turn, has improved things like our Lineup Generator/DFS Optimizer, our DFS Compare tool and even our NFL DFS Ownership Projections. Again, all right here on one site for your convenience.

Again, if you are new to the #FAmily, welcome! All the aforementioned tools are, obviously, at your disposal as well, but please allow me to point you towards more of the content and tools we provide to help you crush your DFS contests each week. It also makes for a nice introduction to our DFS team.

QB Coach – Jon Impemba (@jimpemba777)

RB Coach -- Justin Vreeland (@JustinVreeland)

WR Coach -- Colby Conway (@colbyrconway)

TE Coach -- Andrew Cooper (@CoopAFiasco)

D/ST Coach -- Dan Malin (@RealDANlanta)

In addition to the positional coaching pieces, you also have things like the DFS Watch List, where I provide you with a list of players I am looking at throughout the week. We have the NFL DFS Show with me & Jon Impemba, which you can click below and watch as we talk through each position, our favorite plays and even build a lineup on DraftKings. Impemba also does the Value Plays & Contrarian Corner videos so be sure to check that out as well. Also, don't miss out on the complete NFL Weekly Match-Up Report from Britt Flinn (@britt_flinn) and the all-important WR/CB Match-Up Report from JB Barry (@FantasyCoachJB).

If you haven't started bookmarking everything, do yourself a favor and do it now. Yes, that's a lot of content and sure, it can be overwhelming, but these pieces come out throughout the week, so if you're seeing all of this for the first time, just know that it all starts trickling out on Tuesday so you can attack the info steadily rather than get slammed all at once. I would suggest that you go through the NFL DFS Menu and start bookmarking a lot of these pieces for ease of use in the future.

Once you've got all of that under your belt, it's time to look at the Playbook. It usually arrives in the early afternoon on Saturdays which gives you ample time to read through everything, make your notes and begin working on your lineups. On Sunday morning, we will provide you with Example Lineups for both cash games and GPP tournaments on DraftKings and FanDuel, so you have something to compare your own to before finalizing.

Pretty sure that sums up the basics, and as you should know, if you have any questions, we are all available via the Fantasy Alarm Discord Chat, social media and even email, so please do not ever hesitate to ask for help. That's what we are here for.

**One more important thing to remember with the short slate, the focus should be on GPP lineups and having some fun. With just three games, there will be a ton of player overlap in lineups and that typically raises the pay-lines, making it more difficult to cash. Chalk plays like CeeDee Lamb and Christian McCaffrey will be locked into a ton of lineups and, in order to fit those salaries, people take some wild chances on their pay-downs. So when the chalk hits and so does a low-owned dart-throw which probably has higher-than-normal ownership, you'll see a ton of lineup trains atop the cash game payouts. That happens in GPP tournaments as well, but since you're taking some oddball players as well, the hope is that when these lineup trains zig, you zag and beat them. Obviously a lot of risk there, but that's why we don't over-invest. Save your cash game play for the Sunday main slate which will have it's very own Playbook coming out on Saturday.

If you are ready, let's now dive into the NFL Week 12 DFS Playbook for the three-game Thanksgiving Day slate! Scroll on down for the players!

Also, if you don't have set plans for Thanksgiving Day or you're just watching the games, come check out the Scott Fish Bowl Thanksgiving Day Classic in the BettorCast App! It's FREE to download, FREE to play and you could win all sorts of prizes just for answering some pre-game and in-game prop questions. You can also hang out with me throughout the day and I will be visited by none other than Scott Fish himself! And best of all, Fantasy Alarm is donating $1 for every download of the Bettorcast app to FantasyCares.org, so please join us and spread the word!
