Injuries continue to impact both fantasy football and NFL rosters. We’re almost halfway through the season, and injuries are lingering for stars, but new ones continue to pop up. With the Houston Texans, New Orleans Saints, New York Giants, and San Francisco 49ers on bye this week, managers have additional players out that they have to maneuver.

NFL Week 8 Injury Report: Quarterbacks

Lamar Jackson (Baltimore Ravens)

While he was ultimately inactive this past weekend, Jackson is very likely going to play this coming weekend against the Bills. Head coach Jesse Minter stated he’s in a decent spot to play, which bodes well for the Ravens.

NFL Week 8 Injury Report: Running Backs

Jaylen Wright (Miami Dolphins)

Wright, in his return to action after dealing with a foot injury, suffered a quadriceps injury and did not return to action. The Dolphins RB room cannot catch a break injury-wise, though Ollie Gordon has been solid as the RB1, recording his 4th straight game with a TD and his 2nd 100-yard rushing game of the season.

Aaron Jones (Minnesota Vikings)

Jones Sr. left the contest with a knee injury Sunday. It is not considered to be a serious injury, and he is being treated as day-to-day rather than week-to-week. With Jordan Mason returning to action, Jones Sr. was already due to lose work, but this could lean even more work Mason’s way.

Breece Hall (New York Jets)

Hall was ultimately inactive this past weekend, but his return to practice late last week bodes well for his status this week. Injury reports will make this clearer throughout the week, but Hall has a good chance to return to action. That said, Braelon Allen has been stellar in relief of Hall, so the workload may be split.

Jadarian Price (Seattle Seahawks)

Head coach Mike Macdonald stated that Price will be designated to return from the injured reserve during Week 8. This will open his practice window, and ideally he can return to action this week.

Saquon Barkley (Philadelphia Eagles)

Barkley is questionable for Monday’s game against the Cowboys with a hamstring injury, but he is trending toward playing. Saquon should be wheels up as long as he remains healthy.

NFL Week 8 Injury Report: Wide Receivers

Jaylen Waddle (Denver Broncos)

Waddle left the team's win over the Cardinals on Sunday due to a chest injury. He did not return to action, and as he was already dealing with this injury prior to the game, this could be a sign that he may be out for some time. Practice reports this week should give us additional insight.

DeVonta Smith (Philadelphia Eagles)

Smith has been ruled out of Monday’s game against the Cowboys. With a short week, it will be crucial to see Smith back at practice this week to ensure he’s active for Week 8’s matchup against the Commanders.

Ladd McConkey (Los Angeles Chargers)

McConkey was spotted in a no-contact jersey at practice on Monday. His being on the field shows that he is progressing through the concussion protocol, but it remains to be seen if he will clear protocol prior to this weekend.

Amon-Ra St. Brown (Detroit Lions)

Head coach Dan Campbell stated that St. Brown tweaked his ankle against the Packers. He added that St. Brown should be able to return to practice by Thursday, which should put him in line to play.
