Fantasy Football managers are likely breathing easier this week, as the injuries calmed down a bit this past weekend. That said, many stars are continuing to deal with multi-week injuries, and many players have not even returned to practice. On top of that, bye weeks are happening as well, with the Buffalo Bills, Jacksonville Jaguars, Los Angeles Chargers, and Washington Commanders inactive this week. Let’s take a peek at the early injury reports for the week to attempt to get some clarity.

NFL Week 7 Injury Report: Quarterbacks

Lamar Jackson (Baltimore Ravens)

Head coach Jesse Minter stated that Lamar could potentially practice this week. That said, he’s still being considered day-to-day, so we may not have much clarity until the end of the week.

Jalen Hurts (Philadelphia Eagles)

Hurts had been placed on IR with a blood clot in his calf, but new imaging shows clotting in his lungs as well. He is expected to miss the rest of the season.

Baker Mayfield (Tampa Bay Buccaneers)

Mayfield is supposed to practice Wednesday per head coach Todd Bowles. Jalon Daniels has been serviceable in relief of Mayfield, but Mayfield will be a serious upgrade for the passing game.

NFL Week 7 Injury Report: Running Backs

Kyle Monangai (Chicago Bears)

Monangai missed this weekend's game against Atlanta after not practicing with a thumb injury and turf toe. Monangai could return to practice this week, but the team may continue to be cautious with their 2nd year running-back.

Quinshon Judkins (Cleveland Browns)

Judkins returned to practice Friday in a limited fashion, but was ultimately ruled out against the Ravens. He should return to practice in a greater capacity this week, but we will need to monitor this injury as the week progresses.

David Montgomery (Houston Texans)

As Montgomery deals with a groin injury, he was ruled inactive after not practicing last week. He’s being considered week-to-week at this time, so I would guess that we do not see him this week either. Woody Marks will continue to be a solid option in his stead.

Jordan Mason (Minnesota Vikings)

The Vikings are hopeful that Mason is ready to return from injured reserve this week, as he has been rehabbing a thumb injury. He started the year as the starting RB for the Vikings, and the team is hopeful he can step into this role as well.

Breece Hall (New York Jets)

Breece has not practiced since injuring his quad against the Lions. Braelon Allen has been a solid fill-in, but lacks Hall’s big-play upside. He is projected to return to practice this week, which would be a huge addition to a middling Jets offense.

Saquon Barkley (Philadelphia Eagles)

Barkley has not practiced since suffering his hamstring injury, so his status will likely revolve around returning to practice this week. Should he return to practice, I’m expecting him to return to action.

Jacory Croskey-Merritt (Washington Commanders)

Croskey-Merritt has been ruled out of Monday’s matchup against the 49ers. Rachaad White and Austin Ekeler are expected to see most of the work, but Jeremy McNichols could also be activated from this injured reserve, leading to additional workload splitting.

NFL Week 7 Injury Report: Wide Receivers

Rashod Bateman (Baltimore Ravens)

Bateman left the game this weekend in the 2nd quarter after suffering a shoulder injury. Head coach Jesse Minter stated that he should be okay, but we will need to monitor injury reports throughout the week for additional clarity.

Tank Dell (Houston Texans)

Dell will return to action in Week 7, marking his first game since December of 2024.

Alec Pierce (Indianapolis Colts)

Pierce will not have his practice window open in Week 7, meaning he is not close to playing. That said, he has been seen without a cast or a boot at times, so he may be closer to practicing after this week.

Rashee Rice (Kansas City Chiefs)

As Rice deals with both knee and hamstring injuries, he was inactive in Week 6 after not practicing. Given his status as the best WR on the roster, it will be important to monitor his status in practice throughout the week.

Caleb Douglas (Miami Dolphins)

Douglas will practice in a limited capacity on Monday, per head coach Jeff Hafley. This will mark the first practice for Douglas in some time, and should he return to game action it will be the first action since Week 2.

Romeo Doubs (New England Patriots)

Doubs left the game after suffering a shoulder injury on his lone catch this past weekend against the Jets. Doubs has been the de facto WR1 in many ways for this roster as A.J. Brown has been injured, so his status will be important to monitor.

Jordan Tyson (New Orleans Saints)

Tyson traveled with the team to Paris this past weekend, signifying he may be close to being ready to start practicing and work back to game action. This would be a bump for a Saints offense that has already been shining this season.

Mike Evans (San Francisco 49ers)

No stranger to the injury report in his career, Evans is expected to be a game-time decision Monday as he deals with a rib injury, as well as Achilles soreness. If he’s inactive, this offense will be down most of its prime receiving options.

Christian Kirk (San Francisco 49ers)

Kirk is expected to be active this week against the Commanders, marking his return from the Injured Reserve. With Mike Evans a likely game-time decision, Kirk could immediately play a big role.

NFL Week 7 Injury Report: Tight Ends

T.J. Hockenson (Minnesota Vikings)

Hockenson entered concussion protocol after the team's Week 5 game, meaning he will need to clear protocol to be active this week. We should have additional clarity on his status as we get closer to Sunday.
