Week 10 was an IDP report for the ages, yet greatness is the expectation. And expectations were met! Another excellent week for Fantasy Alarm’s IDP Report with risers who proved to be more than a fluke. Successful waiver wire and IDP matchups that were specifically targeted for week 11. Let’s look at the results.

Weekly Grade: A++. Another outstanding week, and the joy from the excellence of execution was experienced. The thought was it would be difficult to have a better week than the IDPs mentioned in week 10. The truth is that we surpassed our own metrics. Every player earned a sack, two have double-digit tackles, and five combined QB hits between the three of them.

The Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Chargers, Miami Dolphins, and Washington Commanders are on bye for week 12. Get players from those teams out of your lineup!

Fantasy Football IDP Risers Week 12

Arden Key is a veteran defensive lineman for the Tennessee Titans. He is relatively unknown, even in the IDP community. But he could be a valuable addition to someone’s fantasy football roster. There are several great defensive linemen on bye for this week, and Key can fill that void.

The Titans' defense has played much better than a one-win team. Key is on a consecutive three-game sack streak. His points are dependent on pressure, but one sack brings so many statistics that he has scored well. The Titans play the Las Vegas Raiders this week, and had a week 10 bye. Key is available in most leagues. Pick up this IDP riser and plug him in if needed.

Cody Barton is an interior linebacker for the Tennessee Titans, as another IDP comes from the last-place team. Barton is second fiddle to the previously mentioned IDP Riser, Cedric Gray, but they both played 70 snaps. Barton has back-to-back 25+ point games and is rising up the board.

He earned an interception prior to the bye week, and picked back up with 3 passes defended. Gray handles the thumping, Barton handles passing duties. Barton has 7 passes defended this season, and is an underrated coverage linebacker. He earned 5 combined tackles, 3 passes defended, 1.0 sack, 1 tackle for loss, and 1 QB hit. The Titans have a good defense, and they get so many snaps due to a bad offense. IDP teams that need a linebacker need to get this riser on their roster.

Ja’Quan McMillian is a defensive back for the Denver Broncos, and he had an excellent week 11 performance against Patrick Mahomes. 5 solo tackles, 1 assisted tackle, 2.0 sacks, 2 tackles for loss, 2 QB hits, 1 pass defended, 1 interception, 16 interception yards. A great fantasy football game against the Kansas City Chiefs following a bye.

The Broncos are on a bye this week, and so is McMillian. With the Broncos banged up in the secondary and thin at linebacker, McMillian will be more involved with the defense. He is the slot corner of Vance Joseph’s defense, and he could be an IDP playoff hero. He plays against the Chiefs in Week 17, and could have a boom week during the fantasy football championship game.

Fantasy Football Week 12 IDP Waiver Wire Targets

Myles Murphy, Defensive Line/Linebacker, Cincinnati Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals will be without Jamar Chase in Week 12. If a team keys in on stopping Chase Brown, there could be several three-and-outs for the Bengals offense. This is good for Murphy, who has been playing well on the Bengals' defensive line. In the past two weeks, Murphy has earned 13 combined tackles, 2 QB Hits, 1.0 sack, 1 tackle for loss, and 1 pass defended. Pick Murphy up off the waiver wire and plug him into IDP rosters.

Andrew Van Ginkel, Defensive Line/Linebacker, Minnesota Vikings

Andrew Van Ginkel was a leading positional point scorer for IDPs last season. He was injured for five weeks this season, and the Minnesota Vikings are past their bye week. The Vikings play their rival, the Green Bay Packers, in Week 12. He will be involved, and he played his most snaps of the season last week, 62.

He had 11.5 sacks, 79 tackles, and two pick-sixes last season. He has a knack for the big play; look for that big play against a banged-up Packers backfield. Pick up this IDP on the waiver wire before someone else does.

Brandon Stephens, Defensive Back, New York Jets

The New York Jets are on a fast track to a top pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. They traded off their best defensive players for future picks, and paired with their high picks, can rearrange their lackluster lineup. Stephens is a former Baltimore Raven and goes back to M&T Bank Stadium to play the Ravens this week.

He earned 70 or more combined tackles in three seasons. He is on pace for a career high in his first season with the Jets. He earned 8 tackles and 1 pass defended last week, and he has 7 passes defended this season. Pick him up from the waivers and use him against the Ravens.

NFL Week 12 IDP Matchups To Capitalize On

Buffalo Bills vs Houston Texans Thursday 8:15 PM ET

This week’s Thursday night IDP pick is Will Anderson Jr.. The Houston Texans have the #1 defense in the NFL, and Anderson has been a steady contributor. He has a sack in five consecutive games, and has one sack in eight of ten games this season. He is the definition of reliability. He also has 14 QB Hits, 3 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries, and 1 touchdown. Look for him to bring down Josh Allen and earn a few tackles on Thursday Night Football.

Minnesota Vikings vs Green Bay Packers Sunday 1:00 PM ET

Isaiah McDuffie earned his most snaps of the season in week 11, 72. He did so because Quay Walker was injured and unable to return. McDuffie could be in line for more snaps against the Minnesota Vikings. The Green Bay Packers host the Vikings, and Lambeau Field will be loud. McDuffie ended with 11 combined tackles and 0.5 sacks against the New York Giants. Take advantage of this opportunity across multiple IDP platforms. Play McDuffie in this divisional matchup.

Atlanta Falcons vs New Orleans Saints Sunday 4:25 PM ET

The eight-year veteran is playing well in his first season with the New Orleans Saints. The Saints are coming off of their bye week and hosting their divisional rival, the Atlanta Falcons. Atlanta lost their starting quarterback (Penix) and stud wide receiver (London). The Saints will be able to focus on Bijan Robinson and pressure Kirk Cousins on obvious passing downs.

Reid has earned 18 combined tackles in the past two weeks, with 1 pass defended. Look for Reid to have several tackles and a big play against the injured Falcons. Put him in the DB or IDP Flex spot for week 12 in this divisional match.
