Fantasy Football Week 10 Tight End Rankings: Trey McBride, Oronde Gadsden
The NFL trade deadline has passed. We laughed, we cried, that guy u/bigaudra was banned from the fantasy football subreddit for 400 days for spreading rumors about Tony Pollard. It was an eventful day. And we even got a couple fantasy fantasy-relevant trades, which we rarely get. But that’s all behind us now, so it’s time to get back to work setting lineups to defeat our most cherished friends and foes. Â
If you need help with that, at least at tight end for this week, I’m here for you. If you want the season-long rankings for your roster decisions, those can be found at the bottom of the waiver wire article, where it says Yin & Yang Tight End. If you want my rankings for every position and every format, those are available to Fantasy Alarm Members here. There’s a lot more than just rankings up there, like all the DFS and betting advice that pays for your membership and then some, but those are in there, too.Â
As always, I’ll be available for comments or concerns in the Twitter or Reddit threads, so feel free to weigh in there with your own thoughts - or any questions you have for this week!

Week 10 Tight End Rankings: Tier 1
Brock Bowers is back to being himself, and order has been restored to the world. Also, it’s worth noting that Trey McBride had two touchdowns total last year - he has four touchdowns over the last three games with Jacoby Brisett.Â
Week 10 Tight End Rankings: Tier 2
Tyler Warren is a guy you start regardless, but the Falcons' safeties, Jessie Bates and Xavier Watts, have been a tough matchup for tight ends - Hunter Henry had zero catches with those two in coverage last week, and George Kittle had similar issues. The hope is that Warren can get JD Bertrand isolated to do some damage, as he has struggled to replace Divine Deablo. We expect Purdy to be back based on comments from Kyle Shanahan, but Kittle will get jumped by Oronde Gadsden for the Sunday update if it’s Mac Jones again.Â
Week 10 Tight End Rankings: Tier 3
Pitts has had a great floor, but we are still waiting for a bigger ceiling week. Kincaid also has been producing, but continues to only run 50-60% of the routes in most weeks. Sam LaPorta and Dallas Goedert have been much more touchdown dependent, but they have obviously found paydirt more than someone like Pitts if you want to chase that in this tier.Â
Week 10 Tight End Rankings: Tier 4
This tier offers the next best mix of reliability with good matchups. There is some shootout potential in the games for Hunter Henry and Mark Andrews. Juwan Johnson looks like he’s healthy from the ankle injury he suffered against the Bills, Rashid Shaheed is out of the picture, and the Panthers are the best TE matchup out there. Fannin would naturally be much higher if Njoku remained injured or got traded, but it’s still a decent spot for him vs. the Jets. He did pop up on the Thursday injury report so just keep an eye on that.

Week 10 Tight End Rankings: Tier 5
There are some decent streaming options in here. Theo Johnson, Cade Otton, and Mason Taylor play big snap shares and don’t have serious target competition. Colston Loveland was the hero last week, but the return of Cole Kmet and Luther Burden pours a little cold water there. And Zach Ertz with Marcus Mariota is exactly fine. Detroit plays a lot of man-to-man, which has allowed some TEs to score on them.Â
Week 10 Tight End Rankings: Tier 6
Really tough to trust these guys, but there have been flashes of upside. Engram doesn’t play enough, but he’s targeted when out there. Hock has target competition and JJ McCarthy to deal with, but McCarthy could pop against the Ravens. David Njoku can score two TDs in any week with that TE rotation. And Dalton Schultz is banged up, but has had some decent target games.
Week 10 Tight End Rankings: Tier 7
This group has a couple of guys in Luke Musgrave and Greg Dulcich that we love to have stashed but are terrified to start. AJ Barner and Jonnu Smith lead a tight end rotation.Â
Week 10 Tight End Rankings: Tier 8
These are mostly backups or rotational pieces. In really deep leagues, I’m holding guys like Elijah Arroyo and Elijah Higgins for their handcuff potential.Â

Week 10 Tight End Rankings: Tier 9
This tight end doesn’t play tight end, but he got some carries last week.
Week 10 Tight End Rankings: Tier 10
Good luck with these guys in your 32-team leagues.Â
