So depending on which site you’re playing on, the slate size is different. Both FanDuel and DraftKings are using the three games tipping off at 6:00 pm EST while Yahoo! is not. Two sites have nine games on the dockett while one has six. We have to always adjust based on what site we’re playing on, so without further ado, I bring you today’s value vault with cheap options for each site!

DraftKings

PJ Washington, CHA ($4,300)

How do we approach Washington here considering he’d fallen deep on the deep chart but he played 26 minutes last game and looked really good doing so. He hit six three’s while grabbing six rebounds and blocking two shots. Now, Jalen McDaniels is out, which is prime front court competition for Washington. With ATL being the worst defensive team in the league according to DRtg for the month of January, Washington could have another big offensive outing.

Ziaire Williams, MEM ($3,700)

With Memphis down so many guys, they’re forced to put a lot of guys into the fire right now and Williams is one of those guys. He’s topped 31 minutes in each of his last two games and has shown some promise. He scored 17 actual and 30.25 DKP and although he has a very low floor, he’s only 3.7K. The names missing for Memphis are Dillon Brooks, Desmond Bane, Kyle Anderson and Tyus Jones. They could potentially be without Brandon Clarke and Steven Adams as well. Williams in that case could flash some upside on the glass, like he did last game grabbing five boards.

Tyler Cook, CHI ($3,500)

Cook’s latest performance was nothing to write home about, but there’s a few things we should bring up. He started and played 26 minutes. The Bulls are absolutely decimated by injuries and lost another soldier in Alex Caruso last time out. Cook only took three shots and picked up five fouls while on the floor, but he flashed some upside grabbing seven boards and picking up one block and one steal too. If he can even touch double-digit points, Cook has upside at this 3.5K price tag he has.

FanDuel

De’Anthony Melton, MEM ($4,600)

The upside of Melton is what continues to pull us back in even after bad games and games in which we all think – except his head coach – that he should be playing in. He only played 17 minutes against MIL, but came back playing 27 against DEN and put on a show, scoring 21 points, grabbing nine rebounds and dishing out three assists for 36.3 FDP. Memphis is still without ALL of the same guys and Melton will be needed to pick up a heavy workload here once again.

Joe Ingles, UTA ($3,700)

We’ve already gotten word that the Jazz are going to be without Donovan Mitchell here and could be without Rudy Gobert as well. Ingles has topped 30 minutes in each of the last two games without Mitchell and has averaged 23 FDP/game, which at current salary is a great value. We know he can run an offense quite well and that’s been evident with his five and six assists the last two games. Ingles went 2-of-9 from the floor and 1-of-8 from three or he would have cruised past 20-25 FP his last time out.

Yahoo! Fantasy

De’Andre Hunter, ATL ($15)

With Hunter’s price finally rising across the industry, the best value we’ll find on him is here on Yahoo! Hunter has been rock solid for Atlanta since returning from injury and has put up 29+ Y! Pts in four of his last five games. He’s played a ton of minutes and has been a staple of their offense, pouring in 13 or more points in five of six games. This is a very fast paced game with a monster total, one that Hunter can thrive in. Bogdan Bogdanovic being out really helps too.

Trey Lyles, DET ($15)

There’s a few reasons I like Lyles quite a bit here. First off, even with the returning Kelly Olynyk, Lyles hadn’t really seen any dip in playing time as he played 24 minutes in both contests featuring Olynyk. The thing is, Olynyk has now been placed in the health and safety protocols. Luka Garza is also not around anymore, so it’s really just Lyles and Isaiah Stewart around for the Pistons. Lyles has put up 23+ DKP in four of his last five games and has even flashed 40 FP upside. There’s also a little revenge narrative here considering Denver really never let Lyles flourish during his tenure there.
