We went 1-1 with Tuesday's Underdog Fantasy NBA Picks with Devin Booker finishing with more than 8.5 points in the first quarter but unfortunately Josh Green only scored two of the 2.5 points we needed for a perfect night. Nonetheless we move on to Wednesdays' slate where we look at the matchup between the Toronto Raptors and Charlotte Hornets for our plays this evening.

Record: 18-5 since Jan 22nd

Underdog Fantasy NBA Top Picks

Jakob Poeltl, C Toronto Raptors

The Hornets have long struggled against opposing centers. The Raptors don't have a true backup behind Jakob Poeltl. These two things meet head on here on Wednesday in what should be a great spot for Poeltl when it comes to his overall production. Over the last two games we've seen Poeltl play 28 and 33 minutes while pulling down nine and 12 rebounds. Now, the 9 rebound game came in the 28 minutes in which the Raptors lost in a blowout to the Pelicans. If not for the blowout then we would have seen Poeltl play his usually 30-to-35 minutes. I'm fully expecting 30+ minutes tonight from the Raptors center in this matchup here this evening which should bode well for his rebounding upside.

Pick: Higher than 9.5 Rebounds

Brandon Miller, SG Charlotte Hornets

The Raptors are one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA and Miller right now is on quite a heater, scoring 28 or more points in four of the last five games which includes going over 33 points in each of the last two. With Terry Rozier traded, and both LaMelo Ball and Gordon Hayward injured we've seen Miller and Mlles Bridgers shoulder the load when it comes to offense and I expect to see another game of 20+ shot attempts and close to double-digit three-point attempts out of Miller here this evening!

Pick: Higher than 23 Points
