Why not just run back the play that hit yesterday shall we? Understanding NBA rotations is key when it comes to figuring out which projection lines you can target, especially when it comes to the quarter projections. For Devin Booker, he plays the entire first quarter for the Phoenix Suns while Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal get subbed out. On the season when Beal and Durant are off the floor, Booker averages 0.86 points per minute. When they are on the floor he averages 0.75 points per minute. His point projection for the first quarter tonight is set at 8.5. If he played all 12 minutes WITH Beal and Durant on the floor at 0.75 points/minute that would come out to 9 points. Knowing that Durant and Beal will both only play about eight of the 12 first-quarter minutes should put us in a good spot for Booker, to once again, finish higher than 8.5 points in the first quarter tonight.

Here is a fun projection to look at this evening. Wendell Carter Jr. has re-entered the Orlando Magic starting lineup. His rebound projection is set at seven rebounds for tonight's matchup against Jarrett Allen. On the season, when playing at least 25 minutes, Carter Jr. has never finished with fewer than seven rebounds. He is a perfect 7-for-7 in games where he played at 25 minutes this season. This includes some tough matchups against the Heat and 76ers in his last two games. If we are going to get 30+ minutes tonight from Wendell Carter Jr. then this line is far too low just knowing what he has done when playing at least 25 minutes this season.
