Jalen Williams NBA Underdog Fantasy Pick: Higher Than 4.5 Assists

This postseason, Jalen Williams has struggled offensively, but he has not struggled as a playmaker. He’s been really good in that area of the game. He’s averaged 10.8 potential assists and 50.8 passes received, which are both second on the team, while he leads them in passes made per game at 46.5. Williams has averaged 5.6 assists per game this postseason and gone over this mark in eight of 10 playoff games. What also helps Williams here is that his minutes are way up from the regular season. He averaged 32.4 minutes per game in the regular season and sits at 35 in the postseason. Williams is one of my favorite Underdog NBA Picks of the day.

 

 

 

Mike Conley NBA Underdog Fantasy Pick: Higher Than 3.5 Assists

I’ve noted this a few times this postseason in articles on Fantasy Alarm, but the Timberwolves are 5-0 this postseason when Mike Conley plays at least 25 minutes per game, which is exactly what happened in the final three games against the Warriors. Conley led the team with nine potential assists per game and was second in passes made per game at 48.7 and third in passes received at 50.3. In all four games he played at least 22 minutes in the Warriors series, he went over 3.5 assists. I really like Conley’s place within the hierarchy of the Wolves' playoff rotation.
