PG: Kyle Lowry ($7,400 FD/ $8,300 DK/ $31 Y!): The Heat continue to be banged up and with Jimmy Butler still out of the lineup, let’s go back to Lowry. The Pistons are on a back-to-back and they are second worst in the league at guarding point guards. He’s dished 13-plus dimes in 3 of his last 5 battles and he’s exceeded his scoring average of 13.7 points per game in 5 of his last 6 contests. He’ll even help pull down rebounds as he’s grabbing at least four per game. It’s a good pace-up spot for the Heat today and Lowry has shot 50 percent from the floor or better in 3 of his last 4 games.
SG: Tyrese Haliburton ($7,700 FD/ $6,900 DK/ $25Y!): The Kings have been hit very hard by COVID and with De’Aaron Fox sidelined, it sets Haliburton up nicely to once again play mid-to-late 30’s minutes. He’s been scorching hot shooting from the field hitting 50 percent or more of his shots in 6 of his last 7 games. He’s produced nine or more dimes in his last two contests. On the defensive end, we can rely on him for rebounding and he’s even swiped 1.7 balls per game. Haliburton has also blocked six shots total in his last three games. The Kings and Spurs are both in the top-10 in pace and we should expect a lot of scoring and Haliburton, along with Harrison Barnes and Buddy Hield will be providing most of the offense for the Kings.
SF: LeBron James ($11,000 FD/ $10,800 DK/ $47Y!): His injured abs haven’t stopped James from playing and with Anthony Davis sidelined for the next few weeks, a lot more of the offense will fall on James and Russell Westbrook. We don’t have to fear a blowout because the Bulls are getting players back for this game including DeMar DeRozan and with Davis out, don’t worry about James’ minutes. James is looking at a near 30 percent usage rate with Davis and other Lakers out of the lineup. He’s recorded two double-doubles and one triple-double in his last five contests and he’s hit the 30-point mark in scoring in 2 of his last 4 outings and he grabs 1.7 steals per contest.
PF: Kristaps Porzingis ($8,700 FD/ $8,800 DK/ $38Y!): Luka Doncic is hurt and we’ve been saying all year that the Timberwolves are easy to attack in the post. The ‘Wolves rank in the bottom five in the league at guarding both power forwards and centers. Porzingis is coming off of two double-doubles and he’s scored 22-plus actual points in 3 of his last 4 battles. He’s taken no fewer than 16 shots in each of his last 4 games. He’s also blocked eight shots combined in his last three games. This game also features a major pace-boost for the Mavs.
C: Karl-Anthony Towns ($9,900 FD/ $9,600 DK/ $40Y!): The Mavs rank 17th in the league at defending centers and even though the pace works against Minnesota, Towns has been picking up the production over his last few games securing two double-doubles in his last three games and he’s scored 28 or more points in both of his last 2 contests. Anthony Edwards is in the league’s COVID protocol and with him out, Towns see’s a near six percent usage bump and he’s taken 17 or more shots in 4 straight games. He has also posted two three-block games in his last four and grabbed a steal in three games during that stretch.
