NBA DFS Showdown Slate

MVP/Captain

Damian Lillard, Portland Trail Blazers

Lillard headlines this slate at $15,900 for the captain spot. He is in a bit of a shooting slump at the moment 15-40 from the floor and just 5-21 from three-point range. He hasn't killed you if you have put him in your lineup however scoring 36 and 56 fantasy points. Lillard has at least eight assists in three straight games and is impacting the game more than just scoring which you like to see.

Jordan Poole, Golden State Warriors

Jordan Poole hasn't quite had the last three games we were hoping for with him as the guy. He has scored 26,24, and 32 game points, but his turnovers have killed his fantasy production. Poole has 21 turnovers over his past four games. Poole is an outstanding scorer so he will put up points. Unfortunately, his ceiling isn't as high as we would like.

Jerami Grant, Portland Trail Blazers

Jerami Grant has been playing great basketball over his past four games. He is averaging just over 42 fantasy points over those four and hasn't scored less than 31 fantasy points in either game. I am intrigued by the matchup he has with Draymond in this one, and see who comes out on top. I do think Grant is a solid option for the captain spot to save some money, he has a solid ceiling as well.

Utility

Klay Thompson, Golden State Warriors

I probably could of put Klay in the captain spot over Poole with the way he has been shooting the last two games. Klay has simply been better than Polle the last two games scoring over 42 fantasy points in each game. Klay has also played at least 39 minutes in those two games as well, which you love to see. Klay will be in the lineup after two days off, so you do not have to worry about him resting.

Jusuf Nurkic, Portland Trail Blazers

We do not talk enough about just how solid Jusuf Nurkic is for fantasy purposes. Nurkic has not scored fewer than 24 fantasy points in his last 20 games. That isn't a typo, I mean 20 games. That is just an unreal floor and he is priced under 8K on DraftKings. He will be in my lineup tonight.

Update: Nurkic has been ruled out

Donte DiVincenzo, Golden State Warriors

DiVincenzo is in line to start once again in this one with all the injuries. Donte has scored at least 23 fantasy points in his last three games with two in the 30s. What I like most about his recent games, he went scoreless in one game, and still had 23 fantasy points because he added seven assists and nine rebounds, and only had one turnover. You have to pay up for him a bit, but he has a great floor.

Josh Hart, Portland Trail Blazers

Josh Hart is just another guy who is as solid as it comes. He has scored over 30 fantasy points in four of his last five games doing a little bit of everything. He has had double-digit rebounds in his last two games. priced under 7K on DraftKings, there is no reason to not have him in your lineup.

Dart Throw

Ty Jerome, Golden State Warriors

Jerome's price has now jumped up to 4K because of that 31 fantasy point performance in the absence of Klay Thompson. Klay will be back in the lineup once again in this one so Jerome's ceiling takes a hit. However, he is still in line to play around 20 minutes tonight, and still, score you double-digit fantasy points.

Anthony Lamb, Golden State Warriors

Lamb has scored double-digit fantasy points in four straight games and scored over 20 twice in that span. Similar to Jerome there isn't much ceiling here, but can get you around 20 fantasy points on a good night, and that might be all you need from someone priced under 4K.
