What’s up #FANation we have another solid slate of games here and some value we are seeking to help build out those lineups. Per usual, value isn’t min-price, so while yes, there will be some cheap plays that are awesome values we are also looking to identify those players who are mispriced. Let’s jump to it!
DraftKings
Larry Nance Jr., PF/C CLE ($5,000) – We have word that Kevin Love is questionable to play tonight and if he sits I assume we will see Nance starting in his absence. We saw Nance start the other night in place of Tristan Thompson who sat out and he smashed, going for nearly 35 FP. The Blazers start Carmelo Anthony at PF and that’s all you really need to know about that as Melo is historically one of the worst defensive players in the NBA.
OG Anunoby , SF TOR ($5,300) – I am always a fan of OG because of his defensive and rebounding production setting a solid floor and on nights where his shot falls we find him scoring 30-40 FP which is as much as 7-8x his price tag. Atlanta is not good defensively and on the offensive side they can be erratic which should lead to steals and blocks for Anunoby tonight.
Jeremy Lamb , SG/SF IND ($5,900) – Lamb is expected to return to the Pacers lineup tonight and he should fit right back into his usual role within the offense. With Brogdon still out of the lineup I think Lamb may even take on a larger spot, even with Aaron Holiday playing as well as he is. This season with Brogdon off the floor Lamb has a 31% usage rate and averages 1.18 FP/Min.
FanDuel
Carmelo Anthony , SF POR ($4,700) – Good price here for Melo who played 28 minutes the other night, scoring 18 points with seven rebounds and four assists. He should be locked into somewhere close to 30-minutes a night and we know he is no stranger to shooting and scoring the basketball. I have no problem continuing to ride him here given his usage.
Shaquille Harrison , PG CHI ($4,400) – Harrison struggled to follow up his performance from Wednesday night but he still managed to fill up the stat sheet enough to put up 27 FP on Friday. He should again be in the starting lineup for Saturday’s slate and that will give him in the opportunity to easily hit 5x value in which he would only need 22 fantasy points to do so.
Skal Labissiere , PF POR ($4,200) – Hassan Whiteside has already been ruled out tonight which means we should see Labissiere play most of the minutes at the center position even if he doesn’t start. He won the slate for many the other night when he went for 22 points with 12 rebounds, three assists, five blocks and one steal against the Bucks. The Cavaliers are a tougher spot for opposing centers but the price here is too hard to ignore.
